Can't believe Deidre Hall (Marlena) is 64. She looks as good today as she
did when she first appeared on the show 35 years ago. Hard to believe she
is only four years younger than Suzanne Rogers who plays Maggie.

Well, I never heard a word about her being lesbian.
With 4 husbands it's pretty obvious, she is not.

amazed that with these two soap celebrities together, I had not read
about it somewhere before. Maybe it's because I usually skip threads

replaced Susan Flannery as the dominant blonde psychiatrist on Days. It's
true that Susan's character of Laura Horton was taken over by other
actresses (including Jamie Lyn Bauer), but none of them had Susan Flannery's
presence and the character was pretty much written out of the show not long
after Marlena arrived. It's also ironic that one of Marlena's early big
storylines was treating Laura Horton.

relationship, *no matter what sex* they were. My comment was in regard
to my ignorance that these two "well known" actresses' relationship was
unknown to me. Not that either is GAY.
Don't look for bigotry in every statement about gay celebrities.

Love to talk about other folks' private life, it's called gossip, and it's as old as mankind. :))
And, actually, after looking closely at Deidre Hall (I have TV on while I work) today, I was a little shocked how much she has changed.
Her soft features have somehow become harsher, the eyes are slanted... she looks like she has had a facelift gone just ever so little wrong - all stretchy and just not natural.
Her friend Stephanie (nobody here knows if they are lovers) ages more gracefully.
