I saw this on the Days Café twitter feed today. Cathy, who writes the Days
Café tweets, was commenting on a scene in today's episode where Johnny tries
to take the envelope from Ciara:
"That Johnny is the new Stefano! I want him sorased stat!"

As long as they are a few years younger than Will, there's really no limit.

They couldn't SORAS Will because it would put him too close in age to Sami,
who is only in her late 30s. But they can easily make Johnny and Ally into
pre-teens or even teenagers in a couple of years without batting an eyelash.
They'd also have to do Ciara and Theo, since they've been established as
being older than the twins, but that shouldn't be much of a problem.

Maybe not. I remember years ago when I was watching AMC there were two
as being older than the twins, but that shouldn't be much of a

Well that's pretty much what happened with Will. Will was born in November
1995, just 9 months later than Philip. EJ was born February 1997. EJ and
Philip were SORAS'ed and have been in their 30s for several years now. Will
couldn't be SORAS'ed because his mother Sami was a teenager herself when he
was born, so he has aged normally and is only around 20 or 21 now.
Technically, he should be older than EJ and the same age as Philip. Phil
and EJ were able to be SORAS'ed because their mothers (Kate and Susan) were
already in their 30s when they were born, and their fathers (Victor and
Stefano) were much older.
Brady Black is in that same age group. He was born in 1992, but since his
mother died when he was born, there was no problem in SORASing him. His
father (John) was already in his 30s when he was born, so there was no
problem there.
As a general rule, SORASing only works when the parents are in their 30s or
older. When the child's parent was a teenager or young adult when they were
born, the SORASing doesn't work unless the parent is also SORASed, which
only happens when the role of the parent is taken over by someone else.
Because Alison Sweeney has been playing Sami in all the years since Will was
born, he can't be SORASed.
