It would be nice if from time-to-time when TPTB have rewritten history
maybe one of affected actors could step out of character like say John
or Hope and say to the viewers that history has been rewritten and the
rehash of the Gina and the Pawn story didn't happen so forget it!

They don't do that on any kind of show. You're supposed to infer it from
events that are shown.
