LOL!

Guess the career didn't go over so well after leaving DrOOL. She said she's
coming back because she's broke, poor, and was willing to work for cheap. "I
don't really care about the quality of my work, or the fans at Days of Our
Lives," she told the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest. "I just wasn't able
to get a real job anywhere else. Once you've worked on a soap opera, you
basically are typecast for life. Agents don't want to talk to you, casting
directors don't even want to know you. I was tired of eating Ramen Noodles
for breakfast, lunch, and supper. Then I happened to run into James Reilly
as he was pulling out of his driveway that I had camped out in front of, and
he saw how desperate and destitute I was and he gently held my face in his
hands, looked me lovingly in the eyes, and very compassionately asked me
'Are you willing to take a pay cut?', and I said 'Yes'. So now i'm not only
coming back as Carrie, but I'll also be mopping the floors, cleaning the
toilets, running the crafts service table, and chauffering James' boy-, er,
uh, his nephews out to his secret hideaway in Corona del Mar."

"Have you noticed anything different about him?"
"Well, only that he's a foot taller, and he seems to be left handed now...
Frank, what are you trying to tell me? That Quentin has somehow found an
exact double for Dr. Mainheimer and that tomorrow that double will give a
fraudulent report to the president?"

BARF!!! One more reason not to watch this show unless there's a wedding on
it (like Sami's) that gets hilariously ruined. Christie is homely as heck
and her character on this show is a huge snore. I suppose it will be a case
of Carrie and Sami fighting over either Austin (or Lucas ???) yet
again....for the 89th time in history.

I'd like to see Carrie and *Nicole* become rivals. That would be flavorful.
Knowing JERK's track record, though, he will redundantly replay the Sami and
Carrie saga yet again.

Just a hunch, but I don't think the actress who plays Nicole will be around
much longer since her function of being the public "wife" to Kyle Lowder is
now no longer necessary as he's no longer employed by Corday or NBC. In
fact, they're probably both free to get divorced, since Lowder doesn't have
appease studio executives. It was an arranged marriage anyway. She's a
Vagitarian and he's a Beefeater. Frankly, I'm a little surprised that JERk
let him go, but then again, you could kind of see a slight bald spot
developing on Lowder's head, and he is 25 now, and that's a bit old in
ReillyLand. He's likes 'em young, dumb, and full of.....rum.

Yeah, I made it up. That's why it sounds so juvenile and emotionally
arrested.

And that's probably the same reason why I think it's clever and funny.

Oh, the poor little no-talent hack! It's funny how *some*
soap actors -- the ones with talent -- are able to use soaps
as the stepping stone they're meant to be and go on to real
jobs in primetime and film. It's the ones like Susan Lucci
and Ms. Clark who never, ever get out of daytime.

Oh, those are fighting words. First of all, Mrs. Lucci is very talented.
Secondly, she's parlayed her success on All My Illegitimate Children into
hit tv movies and other financial investments.

I used Lucci's hair products a while back and I loved them. You could only
order them on television, but the deep conditioner was fabulous...made my
hair look all loaded with volume and Brooke Shieldsy. Therefore, I think
Lucci rocks. She's the bomb. I'm not too hip on that daughter of hers from
Passions, though. The girl (Liza Huber) looks like Tori Spelling's long lost
sister. Honestly, Miss Huber looks about as exciting as eating a chilled
Crisco and Cucumber sandwich for lunch.

It's skin *crystals*, Ellen. They're crystals, by golly! Micro Dermabrasion
crystals at that!!!

;-) <wink>

(As if Lucci ever needed skin care help...she's got the skin of a six week
old baby it's so porcelain and perfect....)

JN (Doesn't own Lucci's skin care set, but has a friend who does and I don't
really think it helped her skin out any, but whatever...)
