In a lavish ceremony fit for a soap princess, Days of Our Lives beauty Tamara
Clatterbuck married her wealthy fiance Alexander Farkas.

The pair tied the knot at the beautiful oceanfront Stony Creek, Conn., estate
of his mother, Francine Farkas-Sears, whose fortune comes from the Alexander's
department store chain.

"Alexander comes from such a rich family that it was a truly high-society
affair," an insider reveals. "His mom and Tamara spared no expense and the
wedding cost them six figures."

The actress, who plays Barb on the NBC soap, looked stunning in an elegant
$7,500 white silk organza, v-necked sheath gown from Yumi Katsura Bridal in New
York.

Her groom, who works in the computer industry, was dapper in a black suit,
white shirt and silver tie.

The couple said their vows Sept. 8 before a justice of the peace. In keeping
with Alexander's heritage, the ceremony ended with him crushing a glass under
his foot, a symbolic gesture performed at Jewish weddings, a guest confides to
Star.

After the ceremony, 150 guests, including Tamara's pal Sharon Case from Y&R,
dined under tents on the beach. They enjoyed Cristal champagne, sushi, a New
England clambake, fresh fruit, grilled vegetables and a chocolate wedding cake.

Tamara, 38, and Alexander, who met at a Santa Monica, Calif., nightclub two
years ago, shared a first dance to Joe Cocker's song You Are So Beautiful.
Then the rest of the guests boogied the night away to pop tunes from a disc
jockey.

"The couple spent their honeymoon in the British Virgin Islands," the guest
reveals. "It's the happiest time of Tamara's life."

Sounds like a perfect wedding! What other soaps was she on before she moved to
Days? I have only seen her acting on Days.

Okay, don't know what I'm doing wrong that it won't put all of the link in. Try
typing it in and it will work. Sorry about that.

A six figure wedding and they had a DJ? They must have run out of money to
hire a band! :o)

It's because it's on two lines. For whatever reason, newsreaders only
hyperlink the one line.

Perfect wedding for perfect couple. That would have to be OLTL's David
Vickers(Tuc Watkins) & Tina Lord(Krista Tessreau). Man, they look awesome
together. They always had the chemistry. I wish they could have wed. BTW for all
of you OLTL fans, Tuc Watkins is back as David Vickers!

Brady and Chloe in about two years! It better not be Colin and
Elizabeth. I'd rather gag than to see those two marry...

I hope she keeps the name Clatterbuck, as stupid as it sounds. Tamara
Farkas sounds so repetitive. To much "arrrr". It would be like me being
Jennifer Jensen or Jennifer Jennings. Sounds bad.
