Dear "Abuse Department" at EarthLink,

The following was posted to the alt.tv.days-of-our-lives newsgroup by
someone claiming to be me ("I AM J'lahn") --- and they appear to be an
EarthLink ISP user. In a clear violation of the EarthLink TOS, they used my
AT&T WorldNet e-mail address for the return address. I have notified AT&T of
the violation and they told me that I should also notify you. First, here is
the header information for the offending post:

And here is the actual post:

It's OK to poke fun at someone (and legal, actually!) but when you start
actually using that person's name and e-mail address for rogue posts to
newsgroups, the line has clearly been crossed. Of note, the post below the
offending one is from the same person (same IP address) who goes by the name
"Julian" --- the address used for that post is he...@harmony.com (not sure
if this is real or bogus).

Please let me know how you are going to address this clear violation of
EarthLink Terms of Service.

Thanks for your time,
Jim Ward-Nichols (AKA "I AM J'lahn")

That's not the point. But no, I'm not. Being "gay" is way too simple. Too
limiting. If you really want to know more, please write to me at
jlw...@att.net . Here's lookin' at you, BOOZY-BOY...

Old MERC or New MERC? There's quite a big difference you know...

"Is it IDIR or is it Grapevine or is it Hypervine or is it Myvine.com?"

Which Old Merc? The Old Merc or the old old Merc? There is a difference there
too you know.

OLD OLD? I've only been here since '97... technically, I'm still "from"
Northwest New Jersey (Upstate NJ, Sussex County, God's Country).

I'm still cutting my checks to "IDIR" and sending them to that local address
(901 something or other I can't remember). All my banking is online and I
never modified the vendor... when they refuse to cash the check, that's when
I'll update it... and don't get me started on that AQUA-LUNG thing
(Aquila?)... I'll NEVER ask Metavante to cut a check to someone who's
sitting on a park bench and eyeing up little girls with bad intent ---
someone who's got snot running down his nose and greasy fingers smearing
shabby clothes, drying in the cold sun, watching as the frilly panties run,
feeling like a dead duck, and spitting out pieces of his broken luck.
NO --- NEVER!

We should meet at the Bottleneck some night... if you're still in town, that
is... you could just be reminiscing... let me know...
