and on another note
How many damn times can someone fall off a cliff
Days has always had this thing about falling off cliffs, bridges, etc, etc
And let's not forget plane crashes
But lately it's Jack and Jennifer falling every other step they take.
Then we have Hope almost fall
People get paid to write this shit for these 'actors' to perform ?
I usually don't watch her scenes, but the few I've seen recently look like
she's actually gotten worse since her first day. I can certainly see why the
show ousted her so soon. Why did it take them so long, then, to get rid of
Austin Peck?
Donna
My opinions might have changed, but not the fact that I am right.
Because Peck had a body that was a million times more amazing than Charity
Rahmer's. He was used as device to get middle schoolers, high schoolers, and
college freshmen (all either female or gay) to watch the show. He was a
ratings whore at their disposal and nothing more.

I am so disappointed in the new Belle. She's just one step up from
Charity Rahmer and as we all know, that isn't saying much. Martha
Madison is horrible. The LA talent pool must have totally dried up;
either that or Madison got her job through a casting couch.
Samantha
What?!?!? I didn't see today's episode, but I thought M. Madison wasn't
airing until August 10th. Where have you seen her to know that her acting
sucks so bad?
JN
There was a girl today who had a scene with Phillip at a restraunt.
He referred to her as Belle but it wasn't Charity Rhamer (unless she
had long hair extensions added). Did they get a replacement that airs
a few shows betwen Charity and Martha? If not, this was either the new
Belle or...some other person *confuzzled*
I guess it could have been Charity but this girl had LONG hair and
deep lines around her mouth and not her forehead. Now I'm doubting
myself. Fuck if I know what thehell is going on!! *LOL*
Samantha...remember, I livei n Canada and we get an episode before
you.
Well, Martha doesn't appear until August 10th, and Charity had a wig on in
the yellow "Kill Belle" suit. It was the scene where Belle had a sword fight
with Jan and cut her head off.
I think the chick with long hair at the restraunt is most likely Charity
with hair extensions. She's worn them a few times already as Belle. (She's
had the extensions on in flashbacks, too.)
I don't think they'd hire a new girl for just four episodes, especially
since the episodes have already been shot and they're being aired to us
presently. IOW, Charity's been fired and Martha's already taping scenes
which have not aired in Canada or the U.S. yet.
JN
It's really painful to watch Charity "act". She should use her monies from the
short stint to buy acting lessons. She is TERRIBLE.
Is she already airing in your area? We're still stuck with Charity in the
role. When does Martha appear for the first episode??
Okay. In tomorrow's previews they showed Charity with extensions.
Well at least she's easier to look at when she's wearing extensions.
I disagree. I think she should use her money for rehabilitation into another
line of work. Acting lessons won't help her.

Sounds like she should ask for a refund.
Speaking of money, anyone interested in joining my class-action lawsuit
against Corday Productions and NBC for "failure to deliver entertainment as
promised"? My lawyer says I have an open and shut case.

You may know the answer to this or someone else might. I've always
wondered what someone earns on a soap like Days. I know Deidre Hall
makes a million or more a year to play Marlena but I doubt it is that
much for everyone else. Anyone know of ball park figures for the rest
of them?
Samantha
I think I will go to the dentist instead of watching Days as the pain is
quite not as bad

That's a wide net you've cast. Someone like Drake Hogestyn probably earns
about $250-300,000 dollars. Allison Sweeney, Bryan Dattillo earn about
$100,000 a year (maybe a bit more). A mid-level actor, on the show for a
while, generally pulls in about $3,000 a week.
Yeah. Well said, Ice. I remember reading and seeing local interviews (he's
from Moses Lake, WA, that's why) with Matt Cedeno who portrayed Brandon
Walker. He didn't earn enough money on the show to feel comfortable buying
his own house until shortly before he *left* the show. It's not like he was
swimming in cash and bought a huge house the second month he worked on DOOL.
JN
You're saying that a mid-level actor makes more than Sweeney or Datillo? I
don't think so. They may make $3,000 a month but not a week.
Datillo and Sweeney are mid-level actors. That's why they make $100,000 or
"a bit more". $3000 a week is 12,000 a month, or $144,000 a year. I
guarantee you that Datillo and Sweeney don't pull in more than $175,000. And
with him coming back after having been gone a while, i'm sure he took a pay
cut. Datillo seemed kind of desperate to get back on this show. And with the
budget cuts this show tried to make by firing 10 geezers, it's clear they
don't have the profit margin to pay these people much more.
Charity Rahmer should refund her paycheck to NBC.
