Begins in a few minutes - half past the hour - on AMC. I understand a young "Stefano" is in it. I hope I can recognize him. He does not play the shark! ;-)))

He played a small role as a member of the City Council. Photo here:

Just an aside. Joe loves opera as much as Stefano. Here's a photo of him with the late Pavarotti.

David....you got me watching Jaws. LOL. Haven't seen it in a long time. Jaws 2 wasn't bad, the best of the sequels, but Jaws 1 was best. Not the same without Richard Dretfuss and Robert Shaw. Loved Shaws USS Indiannapolis monologue. It was haunting!

Thanks all! Imo the first / original was the best. Even then I only really like the early part of the movie. When they go out to sea for the hunt I get bored.

How did you like the young Joe Mascolo (Stefano)? Did you recognize him?

Did you or anyone know that he played Dr. Tufano on Days in 1968? I'm surprised that IMDB or Wiki doesn't mention about it on his bio.

Jaws was definitely the best. Jaws 2 was okay, and then the sequels got worse and worse. The original is almost always better than the sequels.

I saw that somewhere, but that was before I was watching. He was Stefano
when I began or shortly after that.

John Aniston also played a different character on Days pre-Victor.
Interesting that the two primary villains on the show first appeared in
different parts.

I had to pay close attention. I prefer the older actor. Both he and "Victor" have age well.
