Ok, in season 1, Betsy was pregnant and the father was around. He suddenly
vanished, was it ever written in or do the writers assume we forgot?

He's working on a Cruise ship somewhere in Florida, I think they had a scene
in the Season 2 premiere explaining it but then they cut it out. Hope that

BTW her her name is Bessie not Betsy and Bodie, her live in
boyfriend just dissapeared it was assumed he'd be back or that he was
opening a restaraunt or something...but it was never fully explained...
