The local Fox affiliate in Racine, Wisconsin has stopped showing the
Simpsons at 10:00 and replaced it with various other useless shows.
Tuesday night I was disappointed to see "Dawson's Creek" replacing the
Simpsons. I watched the Creek for a while, but it was too horrible. I
couldn't watch it any longer, so I turned it off and read a book. Maybe,
Fox is trying to turn us back to books. They are more educational anyway.

The only crowd that I think would enjoy "Dawsons Creek" would be early
to mid-teens who are looking for a show that will legitimize and affirm
their own raging hormones. Why fight it? Have sex. They do it on TV!

Whaaaat? What Fox affiliate would that be, that's located in Racine?
I live in Racine, and the only Fox stations *I* get are Milwaukee and
Chicago (channels 6 & 32). Besides, I watched DC on Ch. 18, the
local WB network, out of Milwaukee. You must have some pretty
interesting cable service.

Actually, I don't live in Racine. I stay at the Marriot pretty much all week.
Channel 32 is Chicago's Fox 32. They have the Simpsons at 5:30 and 10:30.
Channel 8 is WB or something, and they carry the Simpsons at 10:00. DC
replaced this time slot last Tuesday, but TS was on last night.
Also, there is another channel that has the Simpsons at 6:00 or 6:30.
It is channel 9 in the hotel. I have no idea what it is in the real world.
Sorry if I confused you.

Paul

P.S. I'm a little less annoyed now, since the Simpsons is still on Monday
nights on WB.

Paul,
I'm guessing Ch. 8 is Milwaukee's Ch. 18 (I don't have cable, so
I'm hypothesizing), which means that everything was most likely
pre-empted by a basketball game, which is why DC wasn't on until
10 p.m. (They push all the primetime stuff back until after the game).
If there's no game, everything should be on schedule, and you
won't miss The Simpsons.

BTW, Ch. 9 is most likely WGN.

Just out of curiosity, what are you spending so much time in
Racine for? :) I'm trying to move *away*!
