What would you like for Vicky's final fate to be?

It doesn't really matter. I just wanted her to finally find out
that Elizabeth Stoddard is her mother.

My theory is that they DID live happily ever after, THANKS to the
death of Jeb Hawkes on the same Widow's Hill in 1970--let me
explain--Barnabas was transported to 1796 following Josette/Kitty from
1897--he then was transported BACK to 1970 by the Leviathans, ON the
nite Josette died, which was BEFORE Vicki's hanging and
recesitation--WITH him was the BOX containing JEB--so Jeb was no
longer IN 1796 but in 1970, and could not have murdered Victoria
Winters--AGAIN changing history--and since he (Jeb) was destroyed in
1970, and in fact was no longer a Leviathan, he definitely could not
have murdered Vicky--NOR was Peter Bradford hanged--his death
eliminated ALL possibility of the original "last" fate of Peter or
Vicky--I have never heard anyone address this possibliity, but it fits
with the story line totally, and gives Peter and Vicky the life they
both deserved, and gives Vicky . the first star of the show, a
beautiful ride into the sunset--of course, then she reincarnates as
Alexandra Moltke, and has a little scandal with Claus Von Bulow...oh
well--

AH...But...if all that never happened, then Peter Bradford's ghost would have
no reason to hunt down Jebb Hawkes ! Bradford's ghost did appear, giving us
the information, thus it still did happen, somehow....
This comment about Vicky reminds me of seeing BACK IN THE SHADOWS AGAIN: THE
LIGHTER SIDE OF DARK SHADOWS, an improv currently running at the Ivanhoe
Theatre in Chicago. Each show is like an episode of DARK SHADOWS, complete
with the recap of the previous show's cliffhanger, and a cliffhanger at the
end. Right after the opening cliffhanger, the director asks for suggestions
from the audience regarding certain plot points, and those suggestions are
worked into the evening's show. Scenes change back and forth between
plotlines, just like the original series.
In the episode I saw, we were told that there would be an attempt to murder a
character (not named), and a motive was needed. Someone suggested "delusions
of power." Well, what ended up happening was that Elizabeth and Roger were
both out of town for a while, and Vicky was in charge at Collinwood. Her
newfound "power" was going right to her head. Sweet, nice little Vicky was
turned into a cold, unfeeling dictator. It was hilarious!
I urge anyone in the Chicago area to see this show. It's on Friday nights at
8:15. The Chicago READER says it's an open run, but I also heard that it was
running only through early January.
