According to the onscreen cable guide, Johnny Depp is going to be on
Jimmy Kimmel tonight. I think Michelle Pfeiffer was on either his or
some other late-night talk show last night.

So what comments did they make about the movie? I fell asleep.

Apparently, Jimmy Kimmel is a DS fan, too. He mentioned to Depp that
when he tried to tell people about the show, he had to convince them
that it really was an actual program that was on the air! They'd never
heard of it, and the concept apparently sounded too far-fetched to be
true :)

They also had some people dressed as various Depp movie characters. The
Barnabas was really quite uncanny.

The usual publicity-type gushing. Both she and Leno mentioned they watched
the original and Leno did refer to the series as goofy.

Wow, that is pretty sad.

But think of how many people might be tempted to try the original
series, after watching the movie. Of course, if they enjoy the movie,
they may not be able to "get" the original, and be turned off before
giving it enough time to grow on them (as it did on me).
