It was up on youtube, OUAT.
dw
Does anyone remember this:
Back during the heyday, Frid appeared, as Barnabas on a game show, I
can't recall the name but Dennis Wholey (sic?) was the host. They
had a great opening, where in full Barn-drage he comes out onto a
foggy stage, walks up to Dennis and says something like "What is your
blood type".
I also believe that David Hennesy (David on DS) was one of the
contestants.
I just can't recall what the show 's name was...
Does that sound like the one you're thinking of? Sounds like the right
time period at least.
Do you remember the network or time of day that it was on?
back then games shows were on morning and afternoon. that might help
to narrow it down
I've seen that clip on Youtube also; it was "Generation Gap."
dw
I think Generation Gap is it. It was prime time and on Fridays I
believe.
It did pit different ages of contestants against each other; thats why
Hennesy was on with other adult contestants.
Dennis Wholey had this horrible bangs haircut, sorta like the Beatles,
but.... NOT!

Did he appear as Barnabus?

It's now time for healing, and for fixing the damage the Democrats did
to America.
Oberon: Refer to my comment above (March 10), but yeah. At that time
DS was at the height of its popularity, so they wanted that. David
Hennesy was even on Tiger Beat and other 'teen mags' as 'a boy of
interest'. People don't believe how popular they were, at a time of
no Internet. Frid received, supposedly, 1000 fan mails - - a week!

Oh, yeah... Selby's appearance was like one of The Beatles were in
town!
When Frid came for a short appearance at the Georgia Theatre around
the time the first DS film was playing, there was chaos in this sleepy
little city in the hinterlands of the deep south. Girls fainting, the
works!
