It's at a not-too-fresh 49% on RottenTomatoes. That's better than I was
expecting, but there are only 41 reviews in so far, and not enough for
consensus. Here's one of the negative ones:
"Dark Shadows is a mess, and it's unclear whether its bizarre recipe of
comedy, campy horror, and gothic melodrama will satisfy anyone,
regardless of their familiarity with the source material."

one did not. The last one said that there would be some unwelcome
action by Dr. Hoffman near the end.
