...if they were from The N reruns? Full eps, good quality, full beginning
and end credits, no commercials; just the annoying little banners and bugs,
and the channel rating in the corner after commercial breaks. Perhaps some
good-quality downloaded eps also. That would mean some eps wouldn't
necessarily have the annoying stuff? I've been recording it for myself, but
got to thinking...what about, like, $25-30 for a full set, perhaps a little
more if it included a box and cover art? I don't have all eps yet, but
wondered if it's worth making a marketable version once I do.

For butchered garbage? Nothing.

For an uncensored series set, two uncensored movies and extras disk with
uncut Beavis and Butthead episodes? $100-150.

(Daria Diaries and Daria Database $10-20 extra)

who hopes Viacom will one day get the message.
(and Mike Judge get bitch-slapped for his edits)

Realistically, though, it's unlikely that'll happen. It's not currently in
production so it can't draw viewers into a current series, and it would cost
millions to get the rights to all the songs they had on the show. Unless
they're guaranteed to make all that money, plus the cost of remastering the
show and creating the DVD stuff and making the extras discs, they're
unlikely to do it. Throw in the B&B eps, and you now having to get
permission from Mike Judge or whoever owns the rights to B&B, and the rights
to any music in those eps also. Plus, it could be that someone somewhere
doesn't want them to be produced...Perhaps her creator fell out w/ MTV, but
retained the character rights & won't let them transfer the character to
another medium, something like that. Is there any official word from anyone
affiliated with the Daria TV show?
as far as 'butchered garbage' goes, I'd rather to have the shows a little
marred than not at all. Is there something that could remove that stuff...an
editor that could sample the backgrounds and then rewrite them over the TV
station's addons? That'd be pretty cool.
