Do Wes Parmalee or Steve Forrest sound and or act like Jock? They're
supposed to be Jock, right? (I know they're not really Jock!)
First time Dallas Watcher on TNT.
See my posting on the Welches Boy through Dejanews -- I thought it was
pretty damned funny.
Ryan
Steve Forrest, the actor, played the part of Wes Parmalee
during the 1986-1987 season. The reruns are now in February,
1982-exactly 15 years ago at this time. Therefore first time
Dallas watchers will have to wait until sometime in
June/July to see Parmalee. I remember during the 1986-87
season as I was in my first year of high school everybody
thought, including myself, that Parmalee was Jock. In other
words he does a pretty good in trying to look, act, and
sound like Jock. However, I think the explanation behind
the difference in looks was due to plastic surgery from
the plane wreck-in which of course they never find the
actual body. I remember Clayton getting real jealous at
this time during the show...and Bobby flying down to South
America to try and find out if it really is Jock-it turns
out to be somewhat of a scam...but I loved the storyline
anyhow because Miss Ellie even started believing it was
Jock and so did I...!
If anyone can remember the TV series S.W.A.T during the
mid 1970s, Steve Forrest was the star of the show to
refresh your memory...
Anthony.

Actually, Steve Forrest first plays Jock-wannabe Ben Stivers, who
turned out to be a character in Pam's season-long dream. After Pam
woke up, lo and behold, there was another Steve Forrest guy at
Southfork, only this time his name was Wes Parmalee.
