Once on "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Larry David acquired a "racist dog."
Hilarity ensued when the pooch had a hostile reaction to Larry's black
friend. A woman who calls herself only "Cyrilla" and writes a blog
called This Is Thin Privilege (there's one for everything, isn't there?)
has a variation on the theme--a dog who takes poorly to her on account
of her girth:

I offer to throw the tennis balls around with them, but the
cousins stops [sic] me.

"Oh, they won't play with fat people!"

"What?"

"They don't play with fat people. Fat people don't run around
fast enough to keep up, and they stop playing because they get
tired, so the dogs don't bother."

I was completely insulted by te [sic] insinuation that being
fat meant you couldn't run around and enjoy physical activity,
but I decided to ignore him and grabbed two tennis balls anyway.
I threw them across the yard and get this! The dogs didn't chase
them. They just sat there and starred [sic] at me even though
a minute before they were begging for the balls to be thrown!

Thin privilege is not being discriminated against and assumed
incapable of physical activity by both dog AND owner.

So far as we know, dogs lack the cognitive ability either to
discriminate or to make assumptions. The anecdote actually is a vivid
argument that identity-politics morality is unnatural.

"Let me be clear. Our goal will not be to effect régime change, or alter
the balance of power in Syria, or bring the civil war there to an end.
We will simply do something random there for one or two days and then
leave."
