Not sure about permanent work, but it's been pretty obvious to many
viewers that she has been getting collagen (spelled wrong, I think)
injections into her lips. There was even an ongoing joke last year,
on another group, that they were taking bets on when her lips would
explode. I haven't watched an episode since the Shuttle Murder, so
couldn't really say if there is anything else. I did see part of one
this year, and she was very obviously pregnant, so her face was much
fuller than it had been.

Dude... I find it very interesting that I make an observation of what
some people said, on another group, and you say *women* are
criticizing the way she looks. Just FYI, the men in that group think
she is unattractive, and more so since whatever was done with her lips
was done. It was noticeable to me, but I wasn't "criticizing" it,
only mentioning it to Frank, in answer to his query.
She didn't go "Meg Ryan" (or Jessica Simpson) and get "Trout Pout".
She's a lovely woman.
Do you stereotype much? In no way do *most* Hispanics and African-
Americans dress "like they're living in dumps". Maybe in your area
(or on the shows you watch), but your sample group doesn't represent
most. Yes, there is a group within each ethnicity that goes for
"jailhouse chic" (baggy pants, hanging low on the hips), but that goes
for *every* ethnicity, including "whites".

you was referring to someone in another group. Well as I said. I will kiss
Emily's lips let you know. Sweet hot lips yummy. lol]

you haven't notice baggy pants. Well for me..girls with baggy pants..yea.
See their panties or underwear is a lot better view then ugly guys. Isn't
it.
Have you seen American Idol? Well last season there was an old black
guy auditioning. His song caught everybodys eyes."pants to the ground".
You must be stupid for pants to the ground". Look it up Annie]
Then you didn't read my post. I clearly stated that "in another
group" people were taking bets on when her lips would explode.

So, you are basing an opinion on a tv show? I get out plenty, and
while there is a subset of the youth in the area who wear the baggy
pants (more often baggy, "long" shorts in summer), they do not all (or
even most of them) wear those pants. It's like the "fashion
statement" of untied shoes that was very popular in the late 80s.
Some do it, others don't. In my own area, most do not (what I've seen
in Denver, on my visits there, also holds that most of the young
people I've seen do not wear baggy pants around their butts).

I for do not like the collagen lips that so many women actors seem to be
going for. It makes them look like Stephen Tyler, and he is certainly not
pretty, at least to me he isn't.
Mikey :)
You know there are actresses with naturally full lips (you mention
Steve Tyler, I submit his daughter Liv), who are quite lovely. Mostly
because the lips fit. Like Angelina Jolie (somewhere there is a photo
of her, very young, and she the same mouth). There is "plumping", and
then there is overboard. Seems to me, if I'm remembering correctly,
that Emily managed to get the plumping, she went overboard once, but
backed off some by the last episode I watched.
If she did any Botox (which I am not saying she's done), she had to
stop it when she became pregnant (just as Nicole Kidman did). What I
remember of the one scene I saw from this season, she didn't appear to
be any more "enhanced" than she had been.
Annie,
Don't bother trying to teach your dog to dance - it frustrates you &
angers the dog.
Tony :)
"His song caught everybodys eyes" - English not your first language?
Watch out for mixed metaphors!
<shudder> right on, dude!
OTOH, he and Mick Jagger could have the French Kissing Fight of the
century any day. :)
