I am so ardently anti-censorship that it's not funny, but....

I can't wrap my brain around the fact that they're allowed to lie like
they do and there is no consequence, no penalty, nothing. Never has a
big network been so willing to throw its integrity away.

But the good news is that a mere 40% of Americans believe in Creationism
and a 6-10,000 year old universe, down from 47% a few years ago. Doesn't
that just warm the cockles.... well, hell, no. Forty figgin percent.

That absolutely .... stunned me. I actually know one guy who
believes the 4004 BCE creation date, but he stands out in my
mind precisely because he's the *only* one i ever knew, and
i know an awful lot of Christians, including lots of fundamentalists.
I honestly thought the 4004BCE people were a very small fringe group.

Well, anyway, the number is down. That part is good.

I think it depends a lot on where you live. I know several women who
think evolution is just silly ('Then why are there still apes?'
eyeroll), although I haven't asked them how old they think the earth is.
