New Cartoons - Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, Summer '99

It's a CARTOON CARTOON SUMMER, including a Beach Bungalow game, weekly
premieres, a nationwide tour, a six-week contest and the launch of a new
half-hour original series. Friday nights from June 11-August 20, will
premiere a new episode of one of Cartoon Network's original CARTOON CARTOON
series--Ed, Edd n Eddy, The Powerpuff Girls, Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo
and I Am Weasel.

I am looking forward to new Johnny Bravo cartoons and episodes of the
Powerpuff Girls, and as a longtime contributor to alt.tv.cow-n-chicken you
can be sure I'm happy about new episodes of C&C and the new I AM WEASEL
series.

I do think it's a pity that there are currently no plans for new DEXTER'S
LABORATORY...unless somebody has news I don't.

And what about new cartoons for the WHAT A CARTOON SHOW ?? I'd like to see
some new work from today's animators. How about you folks?

I understand that MIKE, LU AND OG is going to be developed into an ongoing
series. That's good news. I found this cartoon's seven-minute debut last
fall to be most refreshing. Does anyone have any news or websites about
this series?

Same here. I was highly turned off at the oddball look of Cow And
Chicken at first sight, but as they say - never judge a book by its
cover...and BOY is C&C's cover STRANGE....

Since its inception I've come to like the show lots more! Namely
becuase of the interaction between Cow, Chicken, and
that.....odd....Red Guy....That thing really is strangest cartoon
character I've seen in a while.

Then you probably heard right. I'm really wanting some new dexter eps.
That long 30 minute final episode ("Last But Not Beast") really did it
for me. I'd like to see more along the 30 minute vein....

What A Cartoon has been LONG OVERDUE for an overhaul. I've gotten to
the point where I've become SICK of the endless cycle of reruns on the
WAC show. Everyday its the same things. And new WAC's are held for
special occasions now - Kenny And The Chimp, and Mike Lu and Og. WAC
needs its heart restarted out of the year long coma its been in
