Hi. I decided to re-watch Angel from DVD, but now I'm up to the Connor episodes.

I like Angel and wanted to re-watch it, so that's what I'm doing. I just don't
like teenaged Connor.

Buffy and Angel have so many fantastic, short-lived characters. Electro-girl
Gwen Raiden is in the one I'm watching now. She's a knockout.

I can't miss any Illyria. I've been looking forward to her since season 1, but I
think she doesn't show up till season 5.

Oh, God, I'd forgotten how bad this season was. I've watched 15 episodes and
had to skip over all the unsightly Connor/Cordelia scenes and hope I didn't
miss anything important to the plot. On the top of that the witers and
directors rave about him in the commentaries.

I also took an instant dislike to Cordelia when she killed Lilah. I'd forgotten
that too. But it was great to see Faith beat the crap out of Connor, twice. I
won't consider it an unwelcome spoiler if someone tells me how many more
episodes I have to endure Connor for. Instead, I would count them down.

That was done because CC left the show to get pregnant, and the execs wanted
to turn people against her. There was a rift between her and JW for some
time
because of things like that. The ending to "You're Welcome" surprised her.

She said they've since made up...

But the episode you are referring to is well past where I am at (season 4, ep.
15).

Yes, "You're Welcome" is a later ep that was supposed to feature SMG,
but she
couldn't make it. CC wanted to appear in the show's 100th ep but they
screwed
her over with a twist ending.
