The less you care, the more it doesn't matter.

Apparently both in their 30s.

Um, why is them celebrating "Christmas" so unbelievable?
Is this the old SMG is actually Jewish thing again? What
about that show where she wore a crucifix in every episode
(and celebrated "Christmas" a few times)?

Wrong. In the majoriry of cases religion is something your parents
shove down your throat when you're growing up.

A small number of people have the guts to walk away from that
reliigion and choose their own after learing about the various
religious choices.

In too many cases parents would disown their
kids if they choose a different religion.

In an ideal world kids would learn about all the
reliigions available and choose a religion when they
reach the age of 18. Many of these kids never
learn about other religions. They have the
religious choice shoved down their throat by
their parents.

There are 2,000 religions on this planet,
many kids only learn about one. And how
evil the other 1,999 are.

You have an unusual definition of 'genetic', there. :)

Or indeed rejecting religion altogether.

Unfortunately true.

IMO that is brainwashing, and close to being a form of child abuse.

Only if you are a strictly orthodox Jew, or grew up in a certain central
European country between 1933 & 1945...

I don't know how I missed this thread before, but how is this relevant? Siobahn
and Bridget celebrated Christmas. Is their mother Jewish?
