Anlee, just so you'll know, Str*d*r is one of our trolls.

I could say one of our charming trolls. But that wouldn't be
true.

Here's my guess. St*r*d*r some years ago attempted to convince
Gellar to go out with him/her on a date.

But there was a problem: Since Gellar at the precise moment that
he/she asked for the date wasn't shackled to him/her on a desert
island 1,000 miles from the nearest shipping lanes, and since
Str*d*r didn't have the only source of food and water on that
island, and since he/she didn't have a .457 Magnum pointed at
Gellar's head ...

... she told Str*d*r no.

It's a tough job. That's why it takes at least two of us.)

Well, no one but those closest to her knows if she's spoiled or not, but
she can't be a diva. A diva is a singer, not an actress.

After reading various posts on these boards I have discovered
information that kind of indicates this is the case. This coming from
people who had the opportunity of working with her.

Now there is always two sides to every story, but some of these stories
have the ring of truth and apparently more then one witness to the
facts.

What startled me was the fact that

a. Sarah does not know Karate, and does not possess a brown
belt in Karate.
b. She does not do all of her own stunts.
c. Talks down to everyone and belittles them.
d. Always talking about how hard and long the hours are on set,
but if she would cooperate they would not be that long and hard. (I
admit, I laugh my ass off at that one, because all actors like to talk
about how hard it is to do a television show and what a drain it is.
What a hoot!)

However in her defense she contributed her free time doing
A. "Habitat for Humanity" or did they have a stunt double actually
do the work on the home. I saw pictures though in People magazine and
it looked like her.
B. She has the cutest damn nose. I like that little diamond pattern on
the tip and the "truffle snuffling" ability I know it must have.
C. She bought her mom a house. It shows she respects and loves her.
D. She has a lot of sex appeal for a young lady that really does not
have a lot of beauty per se. She is not tall like a model, does not
have the big fake breasts, and has kind of a cherubic butt, but seems
to have a way of getting a guys attetnion.

Agree or disagree?

Strider

You know, I think much of that is just the media and the internet. Like, I
read an interview and then the next thing I realize is that from one
insignificant line can turn into an attack on another actress and really, I
don't think that was the intent behind what was said. Everything gets bent
out of shape, twisted and pulled and soon, it's completely unrecognizable
from what it started out to be. Like one minute I read that Jerry O'Connell
says that SMG and him dated briefy but now are really good friends and then
I read that he doesn't have anything terribly good to say about her. So
what's up with that? It's probably somewhere inbetween. I don't think
Sarah herself ever once said that she's really good at martial arts...but
she did say that she did Tae kwon Do. But an article (not quoted her saying
so) said that she was a martial arts expert. You can't really blame her for
that. It just the same thing with the Hannibal incident.
You can't really believe everything you read.

>Misinformation is possible no doubt. But I saw Sarah Michelle Gellar
on the Tonight Show and she did state she had a brown belt in Tae Kwan
Do (not sure of spelling on that) Anyhow in TV guide in February she
stated that she and Freddie Prinze were just friends, the real truth is
they are dating and just more then friends. Freddie Prinze admitted
that on the Tonight Show so Sarah lied there, probably to keep her male
oriented audience faithful to her so they won't turn the channel to the
next new "girl". As for Jerry O'Connell he stated in an interview on
Mr. Showbiz that they were indeed dating (denied by Gellar in TV Guide,
she stated "just friends, went to school together.) Jerry O'Connell said
their breaking up was his fault not hers. He said he put his career
first over putting his attention on to her. He took the blame and did
not say anything negative about her.
I guess time will tell. Now Jeff Pruitt mentioned video tape of Sarah
throwing "hissy fits" and being a Diva. I wonder if he has any of those
still in his possession. Hard Copy would pay a mint for them

But I agree that there is always the possibility of misinformation.

First of all, I don't think its any or our businesses whether Sarah Michelle
Gellar is "spoiled" or not!!! What is with everyone sticking their nose
into everyone's businesses??? None of us have any right to judge her
especially when none of us personally know her, so can we stop gossiping

I do think she should give credit to her team the same way David Alyson etc
do, beside the point, her insurance company will nto let her smash that face
up

Jeffs story, is it true? Maybe maybe not, I asume she expects sss kissing
and doesn't like it if you speak back but talking down to people?

if she does a good deed without expecting the rpess there then its a genuine

I agree, but really, I don;t care what she is like off stage as I do not
have to deal with her persoanlly so why should I care? Its not going to

No it doesn't. Pay close attention to the syntax of the definition it says
"an extremely sensitive, vain, AND undisciplined person". That means the
person has to exhibit ALL three qualities and no matter what else you may
say about Sarah Gellar, no one claims she's undisciplined. In fact, she's
frequently described as one of the most driven actresses in Hollywood.

So neither definition fits. Try again.

Well, I have a friend/business associate who worked on the show for awhile, and
he tells it that she is absolutely horrible - bosses everyone around, yells,
pouts, etc. Hearing it from him, Jeff really held back.

I can't imagine, though, that it would be that easy to cover such behaviour if
it went on on a regular basis. Besides, I just don't WANT to believe she's like
that - I always thought somewhat better of her.

Well, maybe one day I'll be able to hire her for a part. I'll let you all know
what I find out then ;-)

I think a nobody on a set and has no real contact with her but observes
everything can get an idea of what she is like. Cause then she will have no

I agree. As you know from our timeless correspondence on IMDB, I don't
think much of her aside from her high-octane looks. I knew damn well
before it was revealed that she didn't do her own stunts. Hell, if she
did, then she might break a nail. God forbid that happen. Hell, she
also might break that truffle snuffling nose as well, causing it to be

Hey, no problem about me visiting you, man. Honestly, I was saddened
to see you go (from IMDB) and that is a secondary reason for me not
returning there, even if the hacker was caught.

You made it fun for me to be there, and honestly, I'm not sure I could
muster up the enthusiasm to post there without you there with me.

I had serious discussions with others there, but no one could be mix
the humor and perspicacity like you and I could. We were together
unstoppable, and I think a lot of those pompous bastards there are
afraid to admit how entertaining we were. Some people did correspond
with me privately and say they enjoyed our posts, but just didn't feel
comfortable adding things to them, so I suspect others felt the same
way.

I'll be here plenty more. I doubt I'll dive deep into discussions with
others, but I'll be looking for your stuff.

LOL! I wondered if you had read that post. Since you left around the

Actually what he's done is claim to be Jeff Pruitt, the stunt coordinator
and we all pretty much believe him. But he hasn't actually proven it with
hard evidence.

Sophia (from interview @ The Hellomouth site):
I would only say to Conan or anyone interviewing Sarah in the future to
ask her to step out onto the stage and perform some of those spinning kicks
of "hers" and flipping onto her back on the concrete. See if you think it
looks the same. Asking her to simply run would also be good for comic relief
too ;)

It's a bit harsh don't you think? I personally have neveer expected SMG to
be able to do those spin kicks and stuff like that. But saying that "Asking
her to simply run would also be good for comic relief too ;)" was definitely
overboard.

I don't think it is fair for you to judge Sarah Michelle Gellar that way
especially since you've never even met her. You're portraying her as some
ditz and "girly girl" who can't handle a few stunts. Maybe she didn't do
all of her stunts, but that isn't even her job. Her job is to act and she's
doing a good job. Just because she is famous gives you nor anybody the
right to critique what kind of person she is based on our own opinions.

Of course she doesn't know karate. It's Tae Kwon Do she said she had
almost a brown belt in. Maybe she does, maybe she doesn't, I have no

Note your use of the phrases "I think" and "in my opinion". Not the words
of someone who is discussing an objective fact.

But just for the record, I believe him too. I'm just saying he hasn't
given anyone hard evidence of his identity; not surprising since the
nature of the medium is such that hard evidence is extremely difficult to
provide.

If I were going to try and pretend to be someone I'm not, I would
probably pick something like stunt coordinator or best boy or 1st
assistant director or script supervisor since people would be more likely
to believe me than if I claimed to be Sarah Gellar or David Boreanaz or
the like.

As of yet, I've seen no concrete evidence that SMG falls into this
category though. (Brett Butler? Cybill Shephard? Yes. SMG? No.)

no I don't, Jeff claims she lied about all of that... martial arts stuff
(sorry I know jack all about it personally), he would know what hes talking

Well, I have doubts about Pruitt's credibility; especially after that
one post in which he practically accused a co-worker of trying to kill him
by removing the bolts from a stunt car.

I never buy into these big conspiracies where everyone is out to get
the one person who is most talented and dedicated! (Which is what
Pruitt would have everybody believe).

I'm sure he THINKS he's only being honest; but I'm skeptical.

I read the hellmouth interview and he did not claim that someone had

caught and discovered and they tightened them and everything is okay.

Actually, he has. His e-mail adress and ID on the posting board of the
OFFICIAL Buffy site were name guarded so he gave that address. What's
more, I've talked to him on the phone about things we've sent in e-
mail, so trust me what I say that he is who he says he is.

Taking your word for it about a phone call you claim to have had hardly
constitutes evidence. I don't disbelieve him either, I just pointed out
that he hasn't provided real evidence (as that term is commonly defined)
on this newsgroup regarding his identity.

What exactly would you consider "real" "hard" evidence? On the same
basis, what real evidence have you offered to prove that you really are
who & what you have said you are in various posts and your frequent
claims to having had personal interactions with SMG? (By the way, I've
also dealt with the poster personally, and I'm convinced of his bona
fides.)

I'm the first to admit that this forum does not lend itself to easy
verification of one's identity.

First, it was a singular interaction, not multiple interactions and second
the answer is none. You can either believe me or not. Just as Pruitt hasn't
provided evidence but I believe he is who he says he is.

> (By the way, I've also dealt with the poster personally, and I'm

I haven't ever dealt with him personally and I still believe him. Doesn't
change the fact that he hasn't provided objective evidence of his identity.

I find it remarkable that anyone cares whether the answer is yes or no.

First, I could care less about SMG, as long as she keeps cranking out
Buffy.

Secondly, why on erth would any Star be anything other than difficult?
My favourite line on this is still the one in Heathers: ''Why are you
being suvch a bitch?'

'Because I can be.'

Virtually no-one resists the temptation.

Thirdly, why on earth should SMG be a role-model, Miss Cheamcheese, or
anything other than an image on our screens? It's really none of our
business whether she's nice or horrible. I wish she'd gain some weight
and lose the kinks in her tresses, not so she'll be a better influence
on teens worldwide, but so I can see something optimally pleasing.

I'm not defending her. I'm not interested in her at all. And it
baffles me that anyone else is.

If every show whose Star became hard to deal with shut down, then TV
would die. Ratings, not niceness, is the key, or profits, anyway. Only
if 1/3 for the s**t becomes 1/2 or 2/3 will anyone worry.

Besides, as you know, this is not the basis on which SMG's character is
usually discussed.
