Extended humping good. I'm a big fan of the extended humping, LOL. :)
It is a good scene. However, I haven't yet been able to find a version
with sound. That would be very, well, interesting. Wish they would
have kept the entire thing intact for broadcast. I don't think it is
any more explicit really than the stuff with Buffy against the wall
(which qualifies as my all time hottest sex scene on non-cable tv). It
was just a little longer, but well worth seeing.
Have you seen the alternate Harvard Man beginning scene? That was even
more, um, interesting----in a scientific sense, of course.

Oh yeah. I'd been waiting for that scene since Spike first saw Buffy at the
Bronze in "School Hard".

Really? How does it differ from what's on the DVD? Purely scientific
curiosity, sure.

I can't believe I read this post after eating lunch!
That chick must be the MOST unsexual being on the planet, and I'm sure
that the reason it was cut was either (a) the network was afraid that
that vision would be too grotesque for the average viewer to see or
(b) they were trying to keep it out of the hands of Spike's attorney
who would be clearly within his rights to sue for injuries due to SMGs
anorexic protruding hip bones.

Do you want polite or do you want sincere?
Oh you wouldnt care if it was dark and she called herself Jessica.
Wouldnt even know the difference...
Shorty
Spike has an attorney? Perhaps he's with Wolfram and Hart... because
only in their world could a fictional character manage to sue a real
person *snerk*

I too share your academic interest in viewing this scene.

"...but I want you to know I did save you... not when it counted of
course, but after that. Every night after that...every night I save

Gosh, when Spike says heartfelt, sincere things like that -- things
straight from his full heart, well, it just makes you wonder why women
are crazy about him, doesn't it?
Do you think this guy is telling the truth? I seem to remember some trouble
from him before, but I could be wrong. I hope this scene exists.
I had a swift search on the eDonkey network, there it was.
I used "Buffy Smashed" as search criteria and it gave it up as
"Buffy - Buffy & Spike - Smashed Sex Scene.mpg", although I
noticed that most clients sharing it have it down as "Sarah
Michelle Gellar - Fucking Spike.mpg"
Happy Hunting.

The scene DOES show a few seconds more than the one aired, and yes it is a
bit steamier than the one we got to see.

I'd like to see it......just for aca.....hell, just for kicks :-)

So many men.......so few who can afford me!
I sure I've heard of this extended scene before from other sources. I just
have never bothered hunting it down...yet.
There is a Museum for Broadcast Television in Chicago.

Her breath would smell like puke from the bulimia.
I can't really picture it being any steamier just because it's a touch
longer. Are you SURE it's not on the, say, season 6 DVDs released in
England?
I have it without the sound, but for scientifically valid "research &
compare" reasons I'd love to have the version with the sound!

I have no idea, are the ones released in England any different than what was
shown in the US? All I know is it's a few (maybe 10) seconds longer and
shows Buffy (to put it bluntly) riding Spike before the close up we all saw
at the end. No real biggie, but for those who haven't seen it, it is
differerent than what we saw on screen. Kind of cool to see, as with any
deleted scenes of Buffy.

Does your version have sound?
I have a version, but it is kind of crappy quality and without sound.
I'd love to have yours too.

Well, take out the "un" in the above line and I'll agree with you.

You have an Edipus complex?
Well if it is purely in the name of science, how can I argue!
It is the first scene where they play the music and bedroom scene
alternating with the basketball game and tornado pictures on tv. The
deleted scene is quite a bit more explicit. No nudity or anything on
Sar...uh...Cindy's part of course unfortunately :) , but you do see
that guy's butt (ewww, btw) for quite a while with lots of (how do I
phrase this in a polite way?) Cindy's legs...um....moving up and down.
I've seen a lot more explicit stuff in movies, of course, but since it
is Sarah, it is really a pretty strange and intense scene.

Hmmmm...cool. Too bad it's not on the DVD. Or is it? I've only watched my
copy once. The boyfriend is really one of the most unattractive men I've ever
seen and to be honest, I can do without seeing his naked ass. Bleah. I did
like the scene out in the woods though :)
