Practically before Chiara left Roddy started his campaign with Lisa. At
first I really thought he was just looking at her as a vote, he has been
flirting up a storm and pouring on the charm. None of this suprised me but
what did is that I think after a week Lisa has started to fall for it and
him. Every time I go on the feeds if L isn't with D she is snuggled up with
roddy. On the hammock,in the cots, on the benches, etc. Not in a romantic way
as such but with a comfort and intimacy that leads to it. the last three
nights he has had her alone for hours until dawn( just talking) and the
talks have gotten progressively more personal. If the posting from thurs
nights chat is accurate she has begun to respond to roddy as a potential
suitor not just as a friend or fellow player. She tells him that when he
talks he "takes her away with him." and that what he says is so "not like
eric at all". I imagine that after a month of C that having a beautiful
woman appreciate what he has to say is a great relief for R and he's no
doubt kicking himself for not going for L to begin with(rightly so), now he
appears to be attempting to correct that mistake. If he stays past next
week, especially if D goes I predict that something like, "I never meant to
feel this way about you and I'd never want to disrespect Eric but..." will
come out of roddy. The question is how will lisa answer him, a week ago I
could have told you but now?

That's interesting. In fact, Roddy told her late Thursday night by
the barbeque "I was always afraid to talk to you." When a guy tells
you that, it means he's surprised that you are friendly after all.
It's a step in the right direction for Roddy, but still, she can be
playing him, too. I notice sometimes that when he walks into the
house to get something, she adjusts her hair and sort of poses and
waits for him to come back. But that's ok, I like them both. It's
fun to watch them and wonder which one has the upper hand. ( Oh no
..I think that makes me a voyeur!)
