What was her reasoning, something about not wanting it to look like her
and Roddy had an alliance. Well, I think people knew that obviously they
were snuggle buddies and a threat. I think she is just using that as an
excuse. I think she has been playing Roddy! I think she was offended by
everyone suggesting her nominations would be what Roddy wanted. She took
control. I think she really wants him out. She knows he's a big threat.

Go Chiara Go. If Roddy goes, I will love it.

Now what did I miss on the live feeds that makes all this bunk?

Them discussing it with other people and getting there support NOT to vote
Roddy out. IS that enough?? :) The other thing that bothers me about it
all. They thought it would make good TV. There more obsessed about it being
good TV than making smart choices sometime.

I like Roddy, but in terms of the game, I hope they do vote him out. It seems
that the HOH's are *trying* to have more control over who leaves than was
intended by the rules, and in many cases it is backfiring. HOH's are supposed
to *nominate* two people, and then it is up to the other houseguests to decide
between the two. We've seen several times the HOH deciding who they wanted
gone, and then putting up a "decoy", in hopes that they can effectively expel
their choice. In a way I think this is somewhat unfair. I think it serves
them right when the decoy gets the boot.

I really think the system of HOH is not working to well. I would rather
see it in the hands of all the house guests insted of one person. As many
of them have said it reminds them of HS. I could never be in that house
with all that backstabbing and mind screwing.

This started with the very first HoH of them all in BB2 and it also backfired.
So if it was intended to be something else you would think CBS would clarify the
rules.;-)

I believe Chiara easily pictured her & Roddy in the chairs in the future
after seeing Lisa & Eric in those seats for reasons that they are a couple.
She still wants Josh to go, but if Roddy leaves she now believes she appears
as less of a threat to others.

Yet, in the long run, Roddy leaving will hurt more IMO. That's 1 less vote
to prevent her from being evicted.

Exactly! Great minds think alike. ;) See my earlier reply to "Does
everyone want to evict Roddy."

Her initial reasoning was to put Roddy up because he wouldn't vote against Josh
and she wanted a unanimous vote. She went around to everyone and told them, you
don't vote Josh out you're up on the block. Everyone told her they would vote
Josh out but Roddy so she put him up.
