Ok, I am a occasional BnB viewer (I don't have MTV, but I watch it at
friend's places occasionally) and I am curious if Beavis or Butthead's
parents have ever been shown. Though it appears they live in their
own apartment, they do go to high school and are apparently 15-16 years
old.

I have never seen their parents, but I don't think they live in their own
apartment. They just live in a messy house. And yes, they're 15 years old.

From "Be All You Can Be":
- So, do you boys know anyone in the military?
- Beavis' dad is in the Navy. He's a semen. Huh-huh-huh.. get it?

Any more references to the parents, anyone? I remember Butt-Head
teasing Beavis about his mother, or something..

In the episode entitled "They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha Ha" Beavis said how
he feels his mom. Then Butt-Head says "That's not how I feel your mom!"
It was hilarious.

Beavis: Nachos rule! Yeah, hmmm hmmm. They rule!

There's:
b:Shutup Butthead! Your mom's a slut!
bh: Beavis! We weren't talking about my mom...

Then:
bh:That guy's got a guitar shaped like that tatoo on your mom's butt!
b:that one's on her shoulder, she's got a battleship on her butt

then during a nirvana video when they show a janitor:
bh:Beavis' dad!

Well, Butthead's parents are divorced... I forget which episode it was, but
it was during the video "Demolition Man" and went like this:

B: This is scary. Can I stay over at your house tonight, Butthead?
Bh: Uh, I'll ask my mom's boyfriend.
B: Ahh, never mind.

B&B had no parents but evolved from the decaying pizza behind the sofa and given
life by MTV's Headbanger's Ball.

There's a family bush (Uh, Uh) in "This Book Sucks".
Beavis and Butt-head got different moms, but perhaps
the same father... There is also an episode with
Diarea where they say they don't know for sure
that they have the same dade
The mother of Beavis resembles Butt-head and vice versa.
But that's not very special. With this
bush you can see that their family, is really
ONE BIG family, If Ya Know What I Mean...

I don't know how they pulled all that off without giving any names.
I thought it was somewhat corny how they had "Mother Butt-head"
and "Grandpa Beavis"... I, myself, could have come up with tons of
neat first names for the Head family (Chet, Dick, "Bone", Given,
ad cranium....)

I don't think Mike Judge was ever prepared to make anything about any
of his work "canonical". When MTV happened, he went from "nobody" to
"contraversial" in under a year. At first, Beavis and Butt-head were
as unheard of as In-bred Jed, and almost as important on Mike's schedule.
He probably even had a real job. Then, MTV said "those guys are cool>"
and a year later, he's writing a book, as MTV puzzles over whether to
allow certain episodes and scenes to remain on the air. Yet another
year later, he is sending storyboards to MTV, where it is sent to some
drawing company in another country, to be turned into animation, while
writers at MTV are arguing over what should come out of the duo's mouths
during The Rollins Band's "Liar" video, and a censor board is cutting
out 90% of "Stewart's House" so that it can be aired once again, while
yet another board of programmers is pondering when to release "The Lost
Episodes" where we see "Stewart's House" uncut.

Two years ago, Beavis and Butt-head didn't even have a school, and Van
Driessen was dead. Mike Judge never thought he would be generating
recurring character after recurring character, or modeling future episodes
against past ones. Now, due to the secret cult following, he has to,
and I don't really think he can.

Case in point: When Beavis moons the TV in season-3 eps, shouldn't we
see the tattoo of a butt with a butt-shaped tattoo on it on his butt?

and the Beavis & Butt-head book shows the guy's mothers....

The BnB Experience, while somewhat humorous, is not a source for accurate
information about the show. The Family bush for example does not have
Butthead's cousin RichardHead huh huh. There are many other
inconsistancieswhich I will not go into at this time. I view is as
something written by someone else, who didn't bother to watch the show
very much. Or something.
