3 Classic Batman Movies Returning to Theaters for Batman Day
------------------------------------------------------------
Batman Day is set to take place later this month, and in
celebration of all things Batman, Cinemark theaters are
gearing up to showcase three legendary films starring the
Caped Crusader.

Beginning on Saturday, September 17, 2022, three of the most
beloved Batman films ever will be rereleased into theaters.
For fans of the live-action films, 1989's Batman and the
1992 Batman Returns will be played, both of which starred
Michael Keaton as the titular comic book character and are
largely regarded as two of the greatest Batman films to
date.

Elsewhere, the animated 1993 film Batman: Mask of the
Phantasm will also rerelease in theaters. This film,
starring Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as the
Joker, is based on the hit Batman: The Animated Series
cartoon and is considered by many to still be the best
Batman film of all, live-action or animated.

Tickets for all three showings are already available on
Cinemark's website, with the full list of participating
theaters also available now. As of now, it looks as if the
showings will just take place on September 17 itself, so if
you're looking to experience these films on the big screen,
then you'll want to make sure you're available on Batman
Day to do so.

When these Batman movies were released, many people complained about
them, yet now that we instead get the dismal, depressiing, and
over-violent "Dark Knight" movies, these old ones have suddenly become
"most beloved". :-\

But, Adam West's TV series will always be the best 'Batman' (even
though it did get weird towards the end and the movie version was
attrocious). :-)

Adam West's was awesome for young viewers like me as a callow back
during the rad 80s. I like the animated versions with the original
voices too.

Not a good Tuesday so far. Way too hot that will last longer until Caturday (was supposed to be on Thursday), especially when laboring! :(
