And Charles Keating has a small part in the remake of The Thomas Crown
Affair as an art forger.

Even that won't get me to watch the show!! . . . I am disappointed in seeing
this news, as I did not expect him to go anywhere near NBC in the near future .
. . they must have offered him a huge salary!!

I simply CANNOT believe it!!!!! Guess he didn't mean some of the
stuff he said. :-( It doesn't matter what executives have left...
it's the same SORRY network telling fans aged 30 to HIS age, that
WE don't matter! What a "sellout", if true. I hate this... and
I definitely won't be watching him on ANY NothingButCrap network
show. :-(
bjw
GREAT!!!!!....I'll watch him...I'd watch him race a squirrel across a telephone
wire if that was the only way I could see him...
More power to Keating if he was offered a sweetheart deal (ala Jensen Buchanan)
and took it....So he goes back to work for NBC..big deal....what this means to
me is that NBC is willing to go the extra mile to save Passions by bringing
aboard "names" like Keating to save their floundering soap but were not willing
to do it to save AW...sure, maybe Keating was upset and said some things that
he should not have but hey, money talks....so get real people and if the rumor
is true I'm sure we'll all live...and maybe in time even start to enjoy
Passions..with CK in the line up it won't be all that bad....LOL!

Absolutely nothing. JB has no part in this discussion whatsoever.
Maybe that's b/c they realized how stupid they look replacing AW with this
garbage and are now trying to lure AW fans over by offering Keating a role.

If they wanted to add class, they'd revamp the current storylines. I say it's a

I find it hard to believe that he would go back to NBC in any form, unless they
offered him an extremely large salary!! The only other reason I can see him taking a
role with Poissons, is to show Don Ohlmeyer (who was given the gate), that he
(Charles) has the last laugh on all of NBC!!
Lets wait and see what happens!!

Sorry CKfan . . . . I wouldn't watch that lousy show, even if Charles Keating is on
it every day!! As much as I like him, I will not waste an hour of my day, watching
that show!!
I may consider taping the first day he's on, just to see what he does on the show,
but I wouldn't waste my time any further!!

I agree with you 110%! Until we can read it in a reputable magazine, or
his web sight, I won't believe it.
Ditto for me. Why won't the person who posted the "it's offical"

Me too Eadie. In fact today I decided to flip over to it when there
was a commercial on just to see what it was all about. I kept going
back and forth during the hour. I agree, I will be very disappointed
that Keating would "lower" himself to that level. That's going lower
than a person of his caliber should even think about. Money seems to
be the bottom line for most people who need to put food on the table,
but I didn't think CK had that problem with the talent he has - so the
money aspect of it doesn't ring true somehow. But, then again, none of
us really know this man do we? Well, I hope it's just a huge rumor
anyway and after today, I don't think I'll ever tune into that
horrible program again.

It won't work on this AW fan because Keating was never one of my favorite
actors on the show and he certainly is not a reason for me to watch that
terrible AW replacement. Anyway, I am already hooked on One Life To Live on
ABC. Keating should join it and battle Asa.

From what I've heard (I've SEEN nothing) Charles Keating is not going to be seen
on POISSONS!! . . . . whoever has started that rumor should be run out of
town!! :-)
He would be too smart to appear on THAT show!! . . . . after what NBC did to
him, I'm sure he's not stupid enough to go back to work for them!!

Well, I just read every post in this NG on my server & am
appalled that no one has stepped forward to debunk this.
It's not true. It wasn't true. And, it still isn't true.
When this officially was being reported to you CK hadn't
even heard about this latest rumor yet to get the huge laugh
out of it that he later did.

Yes, I know. I read all of that & that's what I'm commenting
on, that no one came back & said that indeed it wasn't true,
that it was simply an unfounded rumor, etc. I had posted
myself to debunk it on RATSm & other places & was chagrined
to find that that had not been communicated on here by
someone, anyone. If you see what I mean.

Well, I imagine it was just a rumor where the germ of the
