wow that would be a first.....soap reruns. That would be kind of neat to see all
those past shows that you forgot about or those great actors that you loved but
left the show. Well fox is good for shows in rerun maybe we should all call them.

There is going to be a new network that only shows old soap shows. But,
I read in this ng, some time ago, that the first years of AW were lost,
so if they do air it, we won't be able to see it from the beginning. I
don't know when the new channel begins, but I do believe it's in the new
year.

I agree, I wish they could wise up and forget about the younger
audience,B. S!
There are soaps out there that have older characters than AW had and
there on ever day.

Wouldn't it be nice to see Ada (Rachel's mother) again? I can't recall the
actress' name, (and I do believe she is deceased, unfortunately) but I would
love to see the old episodes I used to run home from school to catch! LOL

Well, if all goes well, that will be possible for some
reruns of classic eps on the CTTG "Soap City" cable channel
next spring.

And, the incomparable Constance (Connie) Ford played Ada,
who I miss to this day.

I called my Cable Company (Hauppauge Cablevision on Long Island) about
the possibility of them carrying either of the two impending soap
channels, and whether the channels would be part of their "Basic Package"
. . . . and I was told that so far they have NO considerations for
carrying either, so there was no need to know which package it would be
in!!

And, if all goes as planned, the 75% of women in the U.S. who do not have
LIVES and feel the need to watch soap opera reruns will get a life (and
that doesn't mean Bingo and pull tabs) prior to next Spring.
