I'm still watching ATWT and OLTL. . . . it looks like I will be staying
with both of them for a while longer.
I'm still waiting to see Cass on ATWT . . . they say he will be back to
finish off Eddie's legal story, so I'm waiting for that . . . and
they've also teased that Donna and Vicky will be on one day. The show
has been interesting, so I'm sticking with it, even without the AW4!!
As for OLTL, I'm getting a kick out of the AW folks there. . . .I like
Linda Dano and John Bolger together, and Kale Brown has a major role
these days, so you get to see him almost every day. . . . here too, the
show has enough in it to keep me watching. The red-headed Amanda (her
name has slipped my mind for the moment) is playing a good villainess
these days! and the "Nick" who was fired, is busy playing a rapist. .
. .
Although neither of the shows has gotten me as interested as AW had, it
is something to keep me occupied, so I don't miss AW at 2:00pm as
much!!. . . . it did take two shows to take up the hour of AW!!

I really think the people on OLTL are excellent actors. It didn't take
me long to accept Michael as Sam, Felcia as Rae, etc! Seeing Nick
playing a rapist is wild. The familiar faces are wonderful to watch,
even though I would give anything to have AW back. I would drop both
soaps in a minute if AW were back on the air! But with out AW I am
finding them a reasonable replacement, if not as well loved, they are
entertaining.

It also didn't take me long to accept the former AW actors on OLTL. I got
involved with the storylines very quickly. If all those actors were missing
from AW it wouldn't be the same show.
One thing I really enjoy about OLTL is they don't drag out the stories forever.
Another thing is the stories are not weird sci-fi type like on Days of Our
Lives. I get enough of that during the evening, my husband watches everything
on the Sci-Fi channel.

There have been weird storeylines on this show. There was a time when
Vicki remembered living in a cave type place. I can't remember what it
was called. She had MPD and was remembering the abuse her father put
her through. She also remembered having a baby there, Meghan. One of
her bests friends, who was the family lawyer, knew all about it, but
never told her, she had a daughter. It was strange. Then there was the
Wild West storey. I watched that from beginning to end. Some of the
characters went through a time warp, and ended up living in the late
1800's! It was really good.
