Next, you need to rename the "FREE_MCBOOT.ELF" file to match the name of the executable file of your game disc. For example, if you are using 007 Agent Under Fire, you need to rename it to "DRIVING.ELF". You can find the name of the executable file by inserting the game disc into your computer and browsing its contents. The executable file is usually located in the "SYSTEM.CNF" file or in the "SLUS_XXX.XX" or "SLES_XXX.XX" file.
Step 2: Install FMCB on Your Memory Card
Insert your memory card into slot 1 of your PS2 console and your USB flash drive into one of the USB ports. Turn on your PS2 and insert your game disc. Wait for the game to load and then swap it with another disc (any disc will do). This will trigger the DVD9 swap trick and load the FMCB installer from your USB flash drive instead of the game.
