Just think about it, guys. Animaniacs has been around for almost
TWENTY years, since 1993. This newsgroup has been around for almost
the same amount of time.
And even when Animaniacs was cancelled in 1998, and then Wakkko's Wish
came out in 1999, alt.tv.animaniacs was still there. And even today,
in 2012, despite the fact that the usenet is now obsolete, with Google
Groups, alt.tv.animaniacs still remains. Sure, there isn't as much
activity anymore, but hey, it's pretty amazing how long we've been
around.
I myself am a new member, but I'm sure that many of you aren't. Right
now, I feel like I'm back in the 1990's, reliving my childhood as an
adult, just now participating in this newsgroup. I believe we should
celebrate the longetivity of this usenet community, and maybe we'll
stand the test of time even longer.

I agree. I feel exactly the same! I think this group should be circulated to Animaniacs fans far and wide. Especially since Animaniacs is returning to American television on "The Hub" starting Christmas Eve and being added to it's schedule (See my recent post on this group for more info). Reading the posts from the 90s is just mind blowing and like traveling back in time.
