I never managed to catch the early seasonw of Buffy. The station
playing it quit right before the final ep and by then, I was pretty
much over it and didn't care to pick up watching it elsewhere.

Yeah, that was an interesting idea. I wonder if he can get away with
giving them his watch again as a gift?

Cordelia became clairvoyant?

Heh.

Hmm, I don't recall Angel being all that whiny or needy on this show, although
given what they've done with other "reformed vampires doing penance" shows, I
see the pit falls.

You mean Cordy quits acting like a bitch?

Buffy's best seasons were 2,1,3,4 in that order. The later episodes where
Marni Noxon took the helm (Whedon was concentrating on Angel) are at times
almost unwatchable (although every season has good episodes).

I have to say, this is probably my favorite tv show of all time, despite
its many many flaws. There are some terrible moments in Season 4. I
remember formulating a rule to ignore or fast forward any scene where any
two of Angel, Cordelia, and a third person named Connor (not gonna do
another spoiler) were having a conversation.

But it just gets better after Doyle dies.

Sorry about the Cordelia spoiler, but IIRC I noticed a little wisp of
glowing gas flowing from him to her when I first saw it.

My viewing is haphazzard, so I have no idea what sesson I am watching,
but I take it she became a Mary Sue near the end of the run.

I already know about Conner, his son.

It's not like I can't fiond out on my own and it's a ten year old show.
I must have managed to miss her clairvoyance being used.

That's only part of it.

But yeah, unlike Buffy, I think you can watch Angel out of order. You'll
miss a couple of good arcs (especially when Angel goes back to being
Angelus), but most of the season arcs are medium to horrible.
