OT/ Christina & Cee-Lo Returning To 'The Voice' In Fall

It's official; Christina Aguilera  and Cee-Lo  Green are back to "
The Voice  " in the fall. The R&B diva and the soul singer will
reclaim their coaching gigs, rejoining Adam Levine  and Blake
Shelton  who are also confirmed to return for the fifth edition of the
singing competition show.

"We locked in a plan several months ago to have the outstanding
Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green rejoin Blake and Adam for cycle 5,
and we're pleased to announce that the original four coaches are going
to be back together in the fall," says Paul Telegdy, President of
Alternative and Late Night Programming. "They're the reason this show
was launched so strong for the first three cycles and we owe them a debt
of gratitude." Telegdy also confirms the line-up for the next spring
cycle, stating, "And after careful consideration of everyone's schedules
for next spring, we are excited to be returning the current cycle of
judges -- Shakira  and Usher  along with Blake and Adam -- for cycle
6, which will premiere after the Winter Olympics."

"I am so thrilled that our Voice family has grown from four coaches to
six," the show's executive producer Mark Burnett also says. "The
coaching panel of Christina, CeeLo, Adam and Blake was at the heart of
this show in its first three seasons and we are so lucky to have found
equal success with Shakira and Usher in Season 4. Our best seasons are
ahead of us." NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt adds in a
statement, "We're very fortunate to have these six incredible artists to
weave in and out of the show as their performing and recording schedules
permit. The show has taken off largely due to the rapport and commitment
of these great coaches, in addition to the expert hosting of Carson
Daly."

Shakira previously confirmed that she would take a time off from the
show next season to "dedicate some time to [her baby] and also to my new
album that I'm working on." Usher will also be focusing on his other
projects, including his eighth studio album and filming " Hands of
Stone  " which also stars Robert De Niro.

I'm glad Shikira and Usher will be back in the spring, as really like
them a lot. I like Cee-Lo too, but not so thrilled with Christina, but I
can take her, or leave her.

I prefer to leave both Cee Lo and Christina. The show is much better without them,
IMO.

I know what you mean. I thought they were both real good the first
three seasons, but having Usher and Shikira as coaches this season,
has been like a breath of spring air, but in saying that, am glad they
WILL be back next spring!

Actually that sounds like a good line-up, I think I'm going to have to
give the Voice a watch this coming season.
