Obama will vote against her appearance, and Hillary will vote for her
appearance, making a comment about how "the President was wrong about
the war, and he's wrong about Barba -- she's a stunning girl and looks
good in everything she does." The "for Barba" vote will carry the
measure and the next AI episode will be viewed by over 117 million
people, with 300,000 right wingers protesting outside the studio.
Next episode to be simulcast world-wide and attracting two billion
viewers.
However, because of Hillary's vote, there will be a backlash in the
next months and Obama will win a landslide victory in the Democratic
primary. Hillary will lose, not only for her vote for Barba on
American Idol, but because of her attempt to bring forth measures that
would allow her to bend the age restriction and have Barba as her Vice
Presidential running mate.
Well, we all knew that AI was much more than a singing contest but if
it results in this, wouldn't it be something? Forget about AI.
Antonella for President!
I cannot tell you how many times, I have told our interns that they
should be VERY careful about anything they place in MySpace etc. for
what it might mean to them in the future.
Dumb choices by kids...a category that can come back to haunt them 40
years down the road.

I hope we can all be good neighbors online!
>And a side note: his speaking out about them lends credence that the BJ
>pictures ARE really her
No it doesn't. He was asked a question by an entertainment mag, and he
answered it. It's not like he called a press conference or a joint
session of Congress to "speak out" about them. Besides, it's more likely
that he was referring to the toilet photo, since that's the one that has
circulated the most, and it is unquestionably a picture of her.
I don't think the BJ photos look like her, but even if it is her, the
person who originally posted them committed an unconscionable invasion of
her privacy. For that reason alone, Antonella should not be punished for
them.
Barring any copyright or trademark infringement issues, the wet t-shirt
photos are fair game. I think they're Antonella, I think they're good
pictures, and I think there's nothing wrong with her posing for them and
then later being a competitor on American Idol. Nothing.
I don't think I've seen all the pictures, but from what I've seen I see no
difference between them and what Frenchie Davis did. So if Antonella
doesn't get kicked off, I hope Frenchie sues the pants off of AI. What does
it matter who put the pictures on the net? What matters is they exist. Did
Antonella ever tell them that there might be some pictures turning up of her
acting like a complete whore before she auditioned? She should be kicked
off like all the rest who did not disclose their past stupidity. Fair is
fair.

LOL is right.
Made plenty of mistakes, and still doing so,

LOL
More likely, 21,500 troops will be immediately surged into MySpace to
look for more hot chix pix.

Well, he'd be right if that's the appearance of what's going on. The
implication, otherwise, would be that anyone with an axe to grind on
any finalist could drudge up potentially disqualfiable material (if
such exists) and get them tossed.
So, all other things equal, Antonella probably would've been tossed,
from what I read here.

Well, not that far. Kinda reminds me of the last season of "Dancing
With the Stars" when Rep. Foley was trying to get Jerry Springer voted
off and a country singer voted _for_, until the latter had to drop out
because of an ugly divorce.
(tripe removed)
You don't see a difference between somebody getting paid for, and
signing a model release form for, photos done for the explicit purpose
of going on an adult website vs. private photos that are leaked onto
the web without the consent of the person in the photos? Good fucking
lord.

"RICE", as you know. Now some prefer adding aspirin or ibuprofen, while
others use vintage single malt scotch...never at the same time,
though!!!!!
I agree with you.
At our last Friday brown bag lunch (two weeks ago, I've been out of the
office this week), I had a conversation with several interns and new
hires. I mentioned that it will be in their time in leadership
positions when a serious Presidential candidate will be knocked out of
the race due to stuff they put up on a MySpace like page when (s)he was
20-30 years younger. I could tell they had not thought or considered
that and maybe even thought I was wrong (which I sometimes am, hehehe).
On this, I'm not and it will be in their laps, eventually.
Nope. If you take those kinds of photos, you know they will end up on the
net. Nothing like that ever stays private. You can't trust anyone. The
moment you pose for those kinds of pictures, you have given permission to
share them with the world. At least Frenchie was smart enough to get paid
for hers.
Well you're 100% wrong. There is a big difference.

Nope. You are 100% wrong. There is no difference.
Yikes, I hope it's feeling better. Don't know how I missed seeing you post
this. :(

I'm glad that you are doing better. I had a foot do that, kept twisting it
here and there and then finally, one day, it broke. Not fun. Are you
doing any ankle strengthening exercises or something?
--
I had the same thing happen to a twist-tie on a loaf of bread once; it
was quite unsettling.
You're not right, Sanna. Not right at all.
btw - Sorry about the "wheel" 'Calli', good to hear you're doing
better.
