Dissent and some jousting in good fun is good for all. Although the judges
and contestants are, for the most part, garbage, nonetheless everything
brings people together as exemplified by said forum. It's HEALTHY and I'm
NOT Bob--I swear to God I'm not. I top post because I didn't know I
shouldn't. When you folks get emails, don't you top post in your replies? I
do.

Yes, I do. The old Microsoft forums always top posted, as do the
"newer" ones that they formed when MS closed their BBs (on the annexcafe
server). I prefer top posting, rather than having to scroll through
hundreds of lines, from people who refuse to snip, just to get to
something like "+1". However, top post here and you get your hands cut off.

Yep. That's why I said snip everything irrelevant to the post. If you go
too far, and snip some things that are relevant, it's another problem
altogether. Frankly, I don't see why anyone WOULDN'T snip when replying.
You have to scroll down to place your reply where it's needed anyway, so why
not just snip as you go?
