To quote the great George Costanza: "It's NOT a lie if you believe it" When the good Dr. Fauci first said those things, he believed it to be true but latter he got more information and his views changed, that's it. For example if Sarah asked you, your thoughts on the VAX, the Election or Jan 6th, you would NOT be lying to her because you really believe those crazy things, BUT if you knew those things were NOT true and you told her those things then YES, you would be lying.

When the good Dr. Fauci first said those things, he believed it to be true but latter he got more information and his views changed, that's it.
