If that's true, then I stand by my assertion that Simon unwittingly aided
Jasmine by declaring her "vulnerable."
If that's true, Jasmine is in heap big trouble this week.
J.
Yeah, AI is always 100% upfront about the results. They say things like this
to make people think they could have made a difference all by themselves.
Now all the people who vote 300 times will start voting 500 times in hopes
of saving their fav. She how they pull the strings?

Can you explain that? Why do you think that helped?
It is hard to say.
Even if Jasmine really did have just 200 more votes, who's to say the
next contestant, say Diana, didn't have just 201 more? Heck, who's to
say the others weren't 202, 203, and 204 more? But I don't think so.
J.
I was thinking the same thing. If anything, Simon's remark might have made
Jasmine place much lower than she normally would have.

My guess would be Diana. I am sure Paul Schaffer will be thrilled!

400. He also said that someone will be singing "It's Raining Men"
I didn't know that Donna Summer recorded "it's raining men"?
Motivation for people who want her to win, but haven't been voting.
I thought TPTB, didn't share that information with the contestants??
Elton.
Bullshit. That becomes Enforced Tie material at that close.

And you think she wasn't already, regardless of George's vote total?
Mike
I am not sure if she did, but it was originally recorded by "The
Weathergirls". I just heard that Jasmine is going to be singing it on the
show tonight.

It's Disco night, not Donna Summer night.

I think they feel it was sort of a heads up to her fans to make sure
they dialed their fingers off last week. That little warning
certainly could have accounted for her getting 200 or so extra votes.

Okay. I just wasn't sure if there was a recording of hers that I didn't
know about. I knew that "the weather girls" did it, but just wasn't sure if
Donna Summer did as well. I dunno.....I bet she could've sang the hell
out of that song.
