Have I missed it (again), or have they explained yet why John Cage is called
"The Biscuit"? Does anyone know? I just love his character.

There was an episode where Cage meets an old girlfriend from law school
and she had christened him biscuit.
The ep is about 3/4 way thru season 1

I think they always called him that and were just suprised when they found
out he had been called it back when he was in school.

It isn't properly explained at any point thus far through the series, except
that he was called "the little biscuit" at school and it "kinda stuck", just
like Ally was called the "Popsicle", it isn't stated but I suspect that was
because she was perceived as being frigid (just a teenage male opinion on
girls nicknames)

In America a biscuit is a bread roll. In an article somewhere DEK has
explained that he perceived the Biscuit's character as someone that got
pushed & pummelled by life [like a bread roll being squeezed, or bread dough
being kneaded] from his earliest days, & that that is the back story on his
nickname.

In that case you'd think he'd be called 'Dough'. Sounds like something Homer
Simpson might say.

Excellent, that's just what I wanted to know. Thankyou.

Incidentally, now that I'm watching the series for the second time, I'm
noticing more how strong Richard Fish's character is. He'd be awful to work
with, but he's really funny to watch.

Tom.
