The helicopter that Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent) and
Dominic Santini (Ernest Borgnine) flew on Airwolf was sold to a German
firm after the series ended. They put it into service as an air
ambulance but it crashed in a thunderstorm killing the three crew
members on board!
