THE First Semi-Annual PEOPLE'S PILOT Competition is over, and the
winners have been chosen!

1st Place: FAMILY PORTRAIT by Toni M. Eldridge

2nd Place: ALL THE WRONG REASONS by Geraldine Vazquez

3rd Place: WOLFPACK METRO by Nicholas Raye

FAMILY PORTRAIT, a controversial drama about an African-American
family working for its share of the American dream, receives a Writers
Guild of America sanctioned development deal with Brody Productions,
which has brought you such memorable series as THE SILVER SURFER,
SPAWN, MIKE HAMMER, THE FALL GUY, POLICE STORY, and many, many more.

ALL THE WRONG REASONS, an edgy comedy about what happens when real
people divorce, receives packaging representation by the
Shapiro-Lichtman Agency for presentation to networks and cable
channels.

WOLFPACK METRO, a police action drama with a twist, receives packaging
representation by the Shapiro-Lichtman Agency for presentation to
networks and cable channels.

The purpose of the PEOPLE'S PILOT is to bypass the special interest
gatekeepers and put television programming into the hands of those who
watch it. Every TV viewer knows in their hearts that they can do
better than what they're seeing, whether they consider themselves
writers or not. Because of increased competition between networks and
cable channels, now is the best time in 30 years for
newcomers--outsiders--to sell their ideas as TV series. The next
PEOPLE'S PILOT Competition starts February 1, 2001. Any and all
series concepts will be considered. No scripts are necessary.
