Does The A-Team's Murdock Come From District 9?

BlackFilm.com is reporting that 20th Century Fox has offered
the role of Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock in The A-Team to
District 9 star Sharlto Copley. There's no word if he has
accepted the role.
He would be joining Liam Neeson (John "Hannibal" Smith),
Bradley Cooper (Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck) and Quinton
"Rampage" Jackson (Sgt. "B.A." Baracus) in the Joe
Carnahan-directed adaptation of the 1980s TV series.
The role of Murdock was made famous by Dwight Schultz in
the series.
