Cold Case murder - Byron Blue

Does anyone know if there has been a resolution in the cold case murder
that Byron Blue (from Squamish, BC) was arrested for? He was arrested
about a year ago & because he was a minor at the time of the crime,
there was a gag order put in place. I think the case was to be heard
in North Vancouver.
If not, who could I contact to find out what happened?

Squamish landscaper Byron George Blue, 51, has been found guilty of a killing a 12-year-old girl back in 1964. Blue was only 15 at the time of the murder.
Although he was a suspect from the beginning, Squamish RCMP never had enough evidence to charge him.
Two-and-a-half years ago, Blue was arrested after an RCMP undercover investigation produced a videotaped confession.
He'll receive an automatic life sentence, but because he was a juvenile at the time of the killing, he will be eligible to apply for parole after serving five to seven years. That means he could be out of jail by 2003, since he's already served 30 months in custody.

I am the murders niece and I can tell u he didn't lead a great life after he murdered that poor little girl. My whole family turned their back on him and I only have a few memories of him that I can think of! My mom was a little girl when this happened and I ask her about details and all she remembered was being sent away by her parents when this happened! He was a suspect at the time but was not charged!
