Ive wondered about this myself. At first I thought it was a term of endearment,

You must be confusing me with someone who gives a fuck how people
regard you.
But since you asked, two things keep springing up for attention and
just won't go away:
1. How come your first reaction to Pope's removal, and the only one
you've stuck with, was to attack the person who helped bring it about?
You claim to "despise" him. Yet you attack his removal with tooth and
nail, and turn on all your former friends who defend me. What's up
with that, Steve?
2. You're very keen on describing other people as "liars". You
volunteered the accusation that I had posted four types of personal
information relating to Jason Pope. So far you've provided evidence
(or someone else did, actually) of one of those. Three parts of your
allegation remain unsubstantiated, but you refuse to address that
matter. What's more, you add another to the list: that I brought
private information provided to me in email to this newsgroup. You
have no idea if I've done that, and indeed it's hard to imagine how
you *could* know, unless you sent the email information yourself. So
the question that must be preying on people's minds, Steve, is
twofold: How can you accuse someone else of lying about a subject you
yourself are currently engaged in lying about; and, why don't you
answer the first part of this question, which has been asked several

Quite simply, there's no possible threat I could make in this case,

The cases are materially different. Notifying his ISP of abuse is not
the same as dragging up personal information and posting it here.
