Looks like we may have yet another triple murder, or perhaps a double
murder-suicide, over in Texas. The bodies of two women and one man have been
found at a rural home. All three appear to have been shot to death. Two bodies
were found inside, a third was just outside the home.
Not a lot of details here, but it's always nice to start out a new week with
a nice little triple murder. The bodies were found last night, and so the
investigation has just begun. No children involved here, so it might not have
been a familial dispute that led to the extinguishing of these 3 lives.

Three bodies found near Sherman
SHERMAN, Texas, Feb. 16 (UPI) Sheriff's deputies say that three bodies have
been found in a rural residence about 25 miles southwest of Sherman in North
Texas.
Lt. Gary Robinson said today that the bodies of the two women and one man
appear to have gunshot wounds but investigators are awaiting preliminary
results from the Dallas County Medical Examiner for confirmation.
Robinson said, ``We're not sure yet exactly what happened.''
Robinson said the bodies were found about 7 p.m. Sunday in the rural home south
of Collinsville in western Grayson County. The body of a woman was found
outside the home and the other two bodies inside.
A sheriff's deputy found the first body as he responded to a phone call of
concern about a woman at the home. He called for other officers who searched
and home and discovered the other two bodies.
The sheriff's office has not released the identity of the victims.
I've spent a little too much time online today, got some other things I must
do. So here is just a very quick update to let ya know that police are now
saying that we do not have a triple murder over at a house in rural Texas.
Instead, we've got ourselves a good old double murder-suicide. 42 year old
Bobby Ray Fields gunned down his 36 year old female live-in lover, and killed
30 year old Tracy Lynn Brown as well, before turning the gun on himself, inside
of the home where he lived.
Bobby Ray used a .38 caliber gun to slaughter the two women. He had been
living with 36 year old Susan Gehring for only the past 2 months. I would
assume they were lovers. Police say that Susan was MOVING OUT of the home
yesterday, and had enlisted her friend Tracy to help with the move. Bobby Ray,
apparently enraged that his live-in lover was leaving him, picked up a gun and
shot both women to death, as they were packing up Susan's stuff and getting
ready to move out.
Hey, some people don't take rejection well. Personally, I would never allow a
fellow human into my home for even a minute, for as long as I live, other than
a hired contractor like a plumber or electrician, who arrives to do a paid job.
But I'm a pretty unique fellow, of course.

Sherman killings ruled murder/suicide
SHERMAN, Texas, Feb. 16 (UPI) Sheriff's investigators in Grayson County say
they have determined that a man killed two women at his home yesterday before
turning his pistol on himself.
Law officers found the bodies at a mobile home near the town of Collinsville on
Sunday night after a friend of one of the women became concerned and telephoned
the sheriff's office. The home is about 25 miles southwest of Sherman.
In a statement today, the Grayson County Sheriff's Office says an examination
by sheriff's investigators, the Texas Rangers and the Dallas County Medical
Examiner's Office led the determination of murder/suicide.
The dead are identified as 42-year-old Bobby Ray Fields of Plano, 36- year-old
Susan Gehring of Plano, and 30-year-old Tracy Lynn Brown of Carrollton.
Investigators believe Fields shot Brown and Gehring and then killed himself. A
38.-caliber pistol was found next to Fields' body.
Investigators determined that Gehring and Fields had lived together at the
mobile home for about two months prior to the shooting. Brown was apparently
helping Gehring move out when the shooting occurred.
