Marv Albert, that famous sportscaster, has been accused of forcing a
woman to perform oral sex on him, and biting her several times. Yum!
Perhaps he was hungry, or merely upset that the insane basketball season
is finally drawing to a close. Sports. Now there is a topic worthy of the
imbecilic mindsets of the Great Unwashed Masses of pathetic humanity.
In basketball we have a bunch of genetically tall men, arbitrarily
divided into "teams", each team sent off to a different city which they
call their "home". Groups of tall men spend their time running up and down
an open space, carrying a round ball. At each end of the open space there
is a pole, upon which hangs an opening that is round and fractionally
larger than the ball. The groups of men spend 2 hours a day, 70 or 80 days
a year, trying to throw their ball inside of the opening. For this, they
get paid a lot of money. People crowd into large auditoriums to watch
these men try and throw their ball into the opening. When they succeed,
the people clap and cheer and rejoice. Millions of other people sit at
home or in "sports bars", observing the men as they race back & forth on
the court, also offering their cheers to the "home" team. Unbelievable!
That is the level of rationality upon which your society exists.
Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, Marv Albert. I guess he might lose his job
as head basketball announcer for NBC if this case goes to trial. He has
been indicted on assault and sodomy charges. The forcible sodomy charge
carries a 5 year to life sentence, if he is convicted. Marv apparently
knew this woman quite well. She was not some hooker that he picked up on
the street. And the incident took place in a fancy hotel in Arlington,
Virginia. A court hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning. Sounds like
it might be interesting. Since when is BITING a normal act during sexual
intercourse?? Maybe as she was performing oral sex on him, he bent down
and bit her several times on the back? The pathetic exhibitions of
uncontrollable sexual lust that the human race engages in never cease to
amaze AND amuse me.
Take care, JOE
The following appears courtesy of today's Associated Press news wire:
ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - Marv Albert, NBC's lead announcer for National
Basketball Association games, has been indicted on assault and sodomy
charges that allege he forced a woman to perform a sex act.
Albert and a 41-year-old Vienna, Va., woman he has known for 10 years got
into an argument in his room at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in this Washington
suburb on Feb. 12, police spokesman Tom Bell said today.
Albert, who is divorced, threw the woman onto a bed, and she was bitten
several times on her back, Bell said.
An indictment handed up Monday said she was forced to perform oral sex.
Albert could be sentenced to five years to life in prison if he is
convicted of the forcible sodomy charge. The assault charge is a
misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine,
prosecuting attorney Richard Trodden said.
A hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning in Arlington Circuit Court.
Albert, 53, is known for his skillful play-by-play in many sports,
particularly basketball. Besides his work for NBC, he is the television
voice of the New York Knicks. He also was a frequent guest on ``Late Night
with Dave Letterman.''

Is this the guy that looks like he wears a toupee?
Here is a more detailed report on our well known sportscaster allegedly
turned sexual assaulter/biter of a woman. We learn here the circumstances
in which Marv found himself with this woman, as well as more details on
the actual incident itself.
The woman says that Marv bit her viciously on the back. She had 10 to 15
separate bite marks. Only after Marv had bitten her these 10-15 times, did
he proceed to force her to perform oral sex upon him. I had incorrectly
guessed in my previous post that perhaps he bit her during the oral sex.
Oh well, nobody's perfeKt. :)
Investigators have very carefully examined the credibility of this
woman, due to Marv's high profile status within this pathetic society, and
she passes the credibility test with flying colors. Marv is not currently
under arrest, but if he fails to show up in court on Thursday for a court
hearing, an arrest warrant will be issued. C'mon Marv, flee, you must have
a ton of money saved up.
Marv's next scheduled sports broadcast with NBC is on Saturday. I have a
feeling he might not make it into the broadcast booth, regardless of the
outcome of Thursday's court hearing.
Take care, JOE
The following appears courtesy of today's Associated Press news wire:
ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - Marv Albert, one of the nation's best-known
sportscasters and NBC's lead announcer for National Basketball Association
games, has been indicted on assault and sodomy charges that allege he
viciously bit a woman and forced her to perform a sex act.
The 41-year-old Vienna, Va., woman, who said she had known Albert for
about 10 years, told police he called her to his room at the Ritz Carlton
Hotel on Feb. 12, shortly after midnight, when the two began arguing,
police spokesman Tom Bell said today.
``She says he threw her on the bed and that he bit her severely,
viciously, on the back. She had bite marks, 10 or 15 of them, and then ...
he forced her to commit sodomy,'' Bell said.
Police were called later that night after the woman sought medical
treatment at National Hospital in Arlington, he said. Bell said she drove
herself to the hospital; he didn't know if she needed stitches.
The indictment, handed up Monday, alleges that Albert forced the woman to
perform oral sex.
Bell refused to characterize the relationship Albert and the woman had
except to say they were friends. He said investigators proceeded carefully
because of Albert's high profile and to be sure the woman was credible.
``We wanted to make sure that she checked out, that she was not some kind
of gold digger or something, and she is not,'' Bell said.
Neither the police nor Commonwealth's Attorney Richard Trodden has spoken
to Albert, who is scheduled for a hearing Thursday in Arlington Circuit
Court.
Bell said Albert didn't return telephone calls. He said a warrant will be
issued for Albert's arrest if he does not turn himself in before the
hearing.
Albert, 53, could be sentenced to five years to life in prison if he is
convicted of the forcible sodomy charge. The assault charge is a
misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine,
Trodden said.
Albert is known for his skillful play-by-play in many sports, particularly
basketball - and his exhuberant ``Yessssss!'' for a well-executed play.
Besides his work for NBC, he is the television voice of the New York
Knicks. The evening before the alleged attack, the Knicks played the
Washington Bullets in nearby Landover, Md.
NBC Sports had no comment, and Albert's whereabouts were unknown. His next
scheduled appearance on NBC was not until Saturday.
There was no answer at the home of the woman who brought the charges.

You gotta figure that Marv, if guilty as charged, was either very brave
or very foolhardy. It seems to me that when a male forces a female to
perform orally on him, he is taking a great chance of having his
"magnificent manhood" (Gifford reference here, sorry) bitten off and spit
into the street on the way out the door.
If Marv actually BIT her 15 times BEFORE doing forcing her, then he
surely must have planted the idea of BITING SOMETHING very strongly in her
mind. Pretty risky, seems to me.

Biting is actually quite a normal sexual activity... so long as one
doesn't draw blood or tear flesh in the process. "Love bites" are an act
and not a lament (well, most of the time). Once in awhile, a man or a
woman gets a little overcome with passion and pleasure (you wouldn't know
about this, of course) and nibbles a bit too hard. Nothing really serious
about that unless it is constant and leaves scars. I have had scratch
marks left on my back and teeth marks on my shoulders after sex.
If one's lover is a "biter", one should be especially cautious about
engaging in mutual oral sex...

It's early on Wed the 21st and listening to the Stern show
bloated attorney Dominic Barbera brought up some good
points.....
1. Forced to perform oral sex is HARD to prove because of a
lack of trace ( unlike anal or vaginal )
2. 15 is a LOT of bite marks. Sounds like consentual stuff and
then the woman got miffed and bolted to the police.
3. Why didn't she tell someone at the Hotel where it happened?
Instead she left and then decided to go to the hospital. After
a check of phone records expect a call to a lawyer to show up.
VA police did get a GJ indictment though. Not easy. More than
they got for Micheal Irvin or Erik Williams down in Dallas.
Bottom line.... He did it, but it was probably consentual. Then for
whatever reason she got pissed and decided to screw him blue.
Eddie Murphy, Frank Gifford, now this. Unreal.

Except that this woman had to go to the hospital. Detective Bell from the

Of course you do not. You are only interested in spewing *blame the
world for my problems* type messages. I spewed nothing. I asked for what
Charlie's ideas were that required him to be locked up. You ran away.
> You, Col, are one
> of the unwashed masses.
Of course you know all about people you never met.
> You have every right to view Charlie in whatever

Yes, and I dont need your permission to do so, either. It is my
*society* that agrees on this, not some nit wit on the edge of reality.
> I don't
> care. I know that 99.5% of all human beings on this planet are incapable

Oh, I only understand you all too well. You like to blame all people for
your life as it is now. So much is clear. If you are going to continue
to whine about society, dont yelp when someone kicks over the rock you
live under and exposes your *ideas* for what they are.
> If you think I am trying to "convince" you of anything, you are mistaken.
One asks why a person posts to public forums (especially in the
*society* they have so much disdain for) if not to sway opinion. You
like to state ridiculous ideas and yet you chicken out and retreat when
the light of reason comes your way. Of course, you dont intend to follow
reason, so I know you will never come around. But you are in the public
eye now, and impressionable people read your *writings*, so I wish to
reveal to them why your ideas are such a fake.
> What I do in my posts is express my truth.
What you express is a 3 year old method of stating that you are going to
see things your way and the hell with truth.
> You can accept it, you can
> reject it, you can ridicule me, or you can nominate me for President, as

I choose to examine your whinings and ridicule the times (which is
almost always) you retreat into a subjective world and pretend you have
no part to play in society, that you can freely hold everyone else
reponsible for everything that goes on, yet the wand of logic never need
touch you.
> If you want to
> post your truth, fine. Go right ahead.
I dont need your permission to do so. I will indeed post what I like,
when I like. I enjoy focusing on the people who want attention for its
own sake, people who have no regard for reason.
> But I have absolutely no interest

Your actions state otherwise. Why are you posting, then? You like to hit
and run. After you spew the repititious baloney you do, and the time for
asking for good reasons come around, you disappear. I so assert here and
fully expect another *I can think what I want - your society is evil*
post from you and then a bug out on your part when the time comes to
review your lies.

No, I have asked patiently for your reasons why you hold the views you
do. It is the open market of ideas. Your idea seems to be *I will feel
any way I want, your society sucks, Charles Manson is great, etc, etc.*.
I have a very open mind, but not an empty head. You have stated Charlie
is a political prisoner. I suggested a way to prove it. You, with your
closed mind to objective proofs, are long on opinions and short on
proofs. I am still waiting to hear about Charlie's *great* ideas. You
cant say I have a closed mind to hearing what they are when you provide
no information on what those ideas are. You run away before we get to
that point. Are you ashamed of them, and that you dont believe it
yourself? I think so. You have a need for attention, it seems, even if
you intend to make no sense.

Bad news Joe:
You post to Usenet and *ipso facto* you ARE part of society. Do you grow
all your own food? Do you make your own clothes out of materials you
grow yourself? Did you build the computer you are writing from out of
materials you mined yourself? Do you own a car? Drive on a road? Read a

Joe, whoever has done whatever to you was more likely influenced to do
so by the crapola you seem to believe in. If that is the case, why is it
OK for you to believe as you do, and they were not?
Joe, you are very SUBJECTIVE. You are allowing your life to continue the
way it is. That is your responsibility, not *society's*.
> Please keep going on your course of self-destructive derangement as a

I see it as input for your justification to sit on your butt and do
nothing. To make the world better requires effort. You spend the short
time available to you on the planet in the garbage piles. Fine. When you
retrieve the garbage and throw it about the place, there will be those
who will be around to point at you and say *hey society, lets not allow
this person to hurt another person*. Is that not what you asked us to do
while you were *innocent*?
> You do as your reality dictates, and you can be certain that I will
> continue to do as my reality dictates.
Actually, you do not do as your reality dictates. You try to pretend to
reasoning, but you do not. You have closed up into a mystical philosophy
of subjective reality. That being said, why is the person who hurt you
wrong? Maybe they had a mystical view of reality that you can not
disprove, and they were right to do as they did to you? Hmmm? His/her
reality was just as valid to them as yours is to you!!!

Friends don't bite friends. How did arguing turn into ... whatever
that was? Lovemaking? Rape/Sodomy? I wonder what the woman thought
Marv Albert had in mind when he asked her to show up after midnight.
Was this the first time that biting and oral sex was a part of their
10-year friendship? I'm glad there is/are no wife or children to
suffer from this mess. (Was the woman married?) Let Albert pay the
price if he forced himself on the woman. Let him off if it was
consensual, and she decided later-on to press charges.

Hello Grandma,
I'm not Jeannie, but I can solve the puzzle for ya. Marv Albert is a
sportcaster, and whenever anything exciting or impressive happens in the
sporting event, Marv always yells out the phrase
"Yeeeeesssssssssssssssss!!!!" with a great deal of enthusiasm.
When Marv got accused of this sexual assault/biting, someone posted
"Nooooooooooooo!" as a parody of Marv's "Yeeeesssssssss!" And then
Jeannie replyed with her own "Yeeessssssssssss!" To indicate that Marv
indeed is facing this serious criminal charge. So that's what it's all
about, They were making fun of Marv's patented "Yeeeeeessssssssss"
expression that he uses dozens of times in every sporting event that he
broadcasts.

But I heard on the news tonight that the assault happened in
*February*. Why did she wait so long to report it? (Okay, I imagine
she didn't wait until the second week in May to report it, but it
shouldn't take two months to investigate and get enough evidence for an
indictment.) Had she reported it in February or March, the Enquirer
would've picked up on it before now.
Legally, sodomy is anal or oral sex. This case taught me for the first

How plausible is it that he would bite her 15 times and then insist
on inserting a fragile vulnerable part of his anatomy into her mouth?
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what to do with teeth
under those circumstances. Just doesn't sound right.

Bragging or complaining, Doug? At any rate, it's all okay as long as
you accept it. At one time or another, this woman decided she didn't
like it. I just don't buy the "ex post facto" defense, if that's what
it was.

My dictionary says "unnatural sexual intercourse esp. between males
or with an animal.". Can we then classify biting as unnatural? Not
according to some on this ng who think it is sexy in the heat of passion.
Some of those people are the same ones who love to point the finger
at someone else. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not into pain, especially
my pain.

She reported it the same night it happened. After she left the hotel, she
drove herself to hospital and called the police from there. 60 days to
get a grand jury indictment is NOTHING. It usually takes alot longer
depending on where it is...Fulton Cty (Atlanta) takes 6 mos to a year.

Hiya GM (wonderful inside whatever :D.
From listening to "Imus in the Morning" I have learned that Marve
says, when he is calling an NBA game says, when a shot is being made
something like "is it gonna make it?" and then a very destinctive
"YEESSSS" when it does. He is the NBC sportscaster who on tv
generally does the "what's going on coverage" for the NY Knicks who
were just recently defeated.
I am not a "full-fledged" NB fan but sort of pick up on this stuff
listening to IITM. I am a "real true I-Man fan". Actually I enjoy
everyone on the "I-Man's" program.
I think you would too. I am going to forward to you a post from the
ng where one of "us" is trying to figure out the "demographics" of our
group. It's a fun and interesting ng.
Best to all....

Well, maybe what you say is true. However, I don't watch much sports,
although I used to. I find most of it disgusting now. As I said in a

Thank you for the compliment. The truth is out there, staring all of you
in the face. It is amazing that so few human beings possess the insight
and the intellectual courage needed to face up to the truth, and to try
and learn from it. The human race is cowardly. They remind me of turtles.
Whenever a truth that they find incompatible with their narrow mindsets
presents itself, they pull their heads inside a hard shell of illogical
thought, in order to avoid having to face up to the perceived threat to
their pathetic cultural mores that the truth represents.
>Thanks for your correct and erudite explanation of the question.
You're welcome. This gives me a good chance to apologize for referring
to you as "Jeannie", when your screen name indicates that the correct
spelling is "Jeanie". Sorry about that error. Even I, brilliant as I may
be, am not perfeKt. :)

In most states, the legal definition of sodomy is
insertion of the penis into any orifice other than
the vagina. Insertion of anything *other* than the
penis into the vagina is also legally considered
sodomy.
Some states have softened non-penile contact
into a category called "improper sexual contact."

She reported it immediately (from the hospital). The police responded
and took pictures of the bites. They claimed it took that long because they
were investigating the woman's credibility. Maybe they were trying to
figure out a way she could have bitten her own back.

Being a Biblical term, sodomy seems to refer to whatever sex acts the
word's user finds repulsive. "Legal" definitions of sodomy are
relatively recent.
Similar to the way "satanism" often refers to any religion other than
the religion of the person using the word.

Albert might get his kicks by biting but it is hardly sodomy. Oral
intercourse is.

That's correct. I believe the sodomy charges relates to the the
oral intercourse. If I'm not mistaken, he was charged with
assault for the biting.

And I've seen the police captain saying that
they wanted to make sure she wasn't some gold
digger (what? who bit herself on the back 15
times?) who was just after Marv Albert for his
fame and money. And if that were the case, she
ought to have set her sights a bit higher.

Sky, legally it is a term for sex other than the "usual", including
oral....
How do you bite someone on the back 15 times and still hang around the
place to perform oral sex?? Kinda makes you think ....doesnt it?

Mammals and *birds*?? Aggies and sheep, perhaps...but what mammal

Maybe Carnaby Street birds?
