Cassandra Leffew. May be an asshole but that's no reason to murder him. As
it was they ended up strangling him with a nylon stocking.

SAN ANTONIO -- Three women were arrested and charged Wednesday in connection
with the kidnapping and murder of a 31-year-old man whose body was found in
south Bexar County in late July.
Maria Hernandez, 26 and Dolores Rodriguez were charged with capital murder
and aggravated kidnapping. Cassandra Leffew, 35, was charged with aggravated
kidnapping.
According to Bexar County Sheriff's Department Detective Al Damiani,
Hernandez and Rodriguez, who met at a woman's shelter, made plans to kill
Hernandez's boyfriend, Robert Fernandez, 31, after they suspected he
sexually abused Leffew's daughter.
Damiani said the women drugged Fernandez and tied him up.
But the women's plans nearly self-destructed on two ocassions.
While Fernandez was passed out in the home, Rodriguez's estranged husband
showed up and caused a disturbance on the front porch that prompted the
women to call the sheriff's department.
Deputies showed up and took a report from two of the women in the front yard
but never entered the house, Damiani said.
After deputies left, the women then allegedly put Fernandez in the trunk of
the car when he started regaining consciousness.
"They attempted to smother the victim with plastic bags," Damiani said. When
that didn't work, Fernandez was strangled with a nylon stocking, Damiani
said.
At one point during their trip to dump the body, Leffew got ill and the
women called for an ambulance.
"She was having an anxiety attack and needed to go home," Damiani said.
The women then finally dumped the body.
A few days after Hernandez reported her boyfriend missing, she tearfully
told KSAT 12 News in an interview that the victim "was good to me. We were
making plans."
The suspects are being held in the Bexar County Jail.

Oh hold on -- she was a co-conspirator, she should be charged with
capital murder just like the other two.

Texas is not a good place to do this sort of thing...

There it is. Premeditated murder, committed in conjunction with
another crime, make these women prime candidates for the needle. And
this is one of the few states that isn't afraid to put women down.
