Does anyone else? (Yes, I Googled for her without success, so someone
who was around back then for whom the name jogs a memory is going to
have to ride to the rescue. There *was* such a thing as life before
the Web, you know.)
Yes, but people tend to put only things *they* remember on a
website....and I don't know if there's an AP archive or not.
I also googled several variations of the name, left out some
data, added other bits....and found nothing.
About all I can think of is a phone call to the Norwark CA
police department..

Thanks to all of you who replied. I really should apologize, though,
because when I went back and Googled again on " 'Stella Nolan' 1953,"
your answers were in the first two pages that came up. I guess those
newly-minted billionaires were taking the night off the evening I first
came across all this. Oh, well.
Anyway, nice guy, that Edwards, wasn't he? Good that the families of
his victims got some sense of justice and closure, and good that he
saved the taxpayers of California the cost of supporting him for
decades that they would have incurred once the death penalty statutes
then in force were overturned. Hey, it's not like they'd have had the
money to waste. After all, Charles Manson and his minions are all
still in good health, and it doesn't look like Sirhan Sirhan is going
to kick the bucket anytime soon, either.
I googled for that exact thing last night, and *nothing* came
up. Now it does. Isn't that funny?

Suspicious
The different search engines don't always have every single page on the
internet listed.
And sometimes, a site can be listed one week, and gone the next, even though
it's still up.
