Certainly one of the most famous pin-up beauty actresses of the 1970's and
1980's was Farrah Fawcett. She achieved fame in the TV series "Charlie's
Angels", which I watched faithfully hoping to see views of the FEET of the main
actresses, but unfortunately the show only provided minimal foot views. Farrah
went on to achieve more fame in the later 1980's & 1990's, branching out into
more serious and difficult acting roles. In one of her most famous roles, she
portrayed a battered wife who sought revenge against her hubby/abuser, in the
movie "The Burning Bed".
Well, over the past week, there has been a FASCINATING trial under way in
California, where Farrah's ex-boyfriend, a fellow named James Orr, has been on
trial, charged with viciously and violently assaulting Farrah. This case did
get mentioned on the news wires quite regularly, as it unfolded, but somehow
I've been too busy with other things to post anything on the case, and I notice
that NOBODY else has posted either. I guess it's up to me, now that the trial
is over, to unveil this fascinating case to the NG.
Farrah Fawcett is already 51 years old, believe it or not. As befits an
arrogant star, she goes after younger men, and developed a relationship with
James, who is 44 years old. On January 28th of this year, Farrah and James got
into an argument at a restaurant, Farrah went to James' home immediately
following the argument, at which point Farrah ADMITS that she deliberately
SMASHED and broke NUMEROUS windows at his house! Windows are VERY expensive.
Farrah committed a CRIME against James. And yet NO charges were filed against
Farrah. Instead, James was arrested after he allegedly assaulted Farrah,
slammed her head into the ground, and tried to choke her. This occured AFTER
she had alteady BROKEN windows at his home. IMO, James had every right to
respond to Farrah's violent assault against her VALUABLE PROPERTY, with a
violent assault against HER personally.
But the jury, being hypocrites, and probably hypnotized by Farrah's acting
performance on the witness stand, chose to convict James of misdemeanor
battery. He faces up to 1 year in prison at an October sentencing, and his
lawyer is vowing to appeal.
This January incident is NOT the only violent altracation that these 2 humans
engaged in. They have a HISTORY of arguments and fights, and yet Farrah chose
to CONTINUE to pursue the relationship. She went to HIS home, and damaged HIS
personal and valuable property. Then she has the audacity to accuse him of
battery and assault. She assaulted his property FIRST, and in a rational
society it would be recognized that she was the AGGRESSOR. She LEFT a
restaurant with him, willingly went to his home, and committed a CRIME upon his
private property. Only THEN did James physically "assault" her. IMO, this
"assault" was justified. It makes NO difference that Farrah is a famous
actress, or a millionaire, or a FEMALE. She was the aggressor, and it is a
travesty of justice that she gets off scot-free, and James is convicted & faces
jail time.
This entire argument/fight was in fact STARTED by Farrah, after she found an
envelope in the garbage that came from James's ex-girlfriend, and was addressed
to him. Farrah is CLEARLY an emotionally unstable, violent, egotistical woman,
obsessed with her fame and views her boyfriends as BELONGING to her. And yet
because she put on a good acting performance on the witness stand, and managed
to impress the pathetic celebrity-worshipping jury, she managed to get them to
return a guilty verdict against James, who is in the fact the VICTIM here.
During the trial, Farrah was described as an "obsessive wild-woman". Her
actions VALIDATE this claim by James's defense attorney. She initiated fights
with James, followed him home, BROKE his WINDOWS with a baseball bat, etc....
His attorney pointed out that Farrah ABSOLUTELY committed CRIMES, illegal acts,
against James, and yet was given IMMUNITY from prosecution by prosecutors, to
get her to reveal the illegal acts that she committed, KNOWING that she faced
NO prosecution herself.
As they left the restaurant, and James drove to HIS house, in the car,
Farrah: "firmly pinched his cheeks, kicked the back of his car seat and hit him
in the shoulders and head as he drove home." Once they arrived, she went inside
the house to retrieve some of her belongings. She obviously was living with
James, at least part-time. He told her: "I'm sorry the evening is ending this
way." She replied: "Now you can be with your whores." He told her, calmly and
politely, to go back to her home and leave him alone. She then told him: "If
you go inside your house I will break the windows of your house." He went
inside his OWN HOME, and that is when Farrah did indeed BREAK windows at his
home. Only then did James come rushing out and physically attacked Farrah,
which he had EVERY right to do, IMO, given the facts as described above.
Believe it or not, the very NEXT NIGHT, Farrah recruited a female assistant
of hers, and the TWO of them snuck onto James's private property, and armed
with a BASEBALL BAT, Farrah proceeded to SMASH IN MORE of the windows at
James's house. It is OUTRAGEOUS that she was not criminally prosecuted for her
ILLEGAL and VIOLENT acts, and it is even more outrageous that a jury would find
James guilty of ANY type of crime, in connection with this incident.
Here we see how famous people who are MENTALLY ILL are allowed to get away
with criminal behavior. There is no doubt in my mind that MANY famous actors &
actresses are mentally ill. The rate of mental illness among actors is FAR
higher than that of the general population. And yet your pathetic society
refuses to impose punitive punishment upon these sacred celebrities, who are of
course VICTIMS themselves, USED by society to distract, occupy, and divert the
attention & interest of the citizen slaves, from their own brutal suffering and
hopelessness, to a make-believe and imaginary world of glamour, untouchability,
and celebrity.
Oh yeah, Farrah showed herself to be a fine actress, breaking into TEARS
right on the witness stand as she recounted how James attacked her. How
PATHETIC that she, a PROFESSIONAL LIAR, was allowed to influence the jury by
shedding tears on the witness stand. As SOON as she shed her FIRST tear, the
judge should immediately have declared a MISTRIAL, if not dismissed the entire
case against James.
Take care, JOE

Fawcett's Ex-Boyfriend Convicted
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) -- Farrah Fawcett's ex-boyfriend was convicted
Tuesday of beating the actress during a fight in which he slammed her head to
the ground and choked her.
The jury of seven women and five men found James Orr guilty on one count of
misdemeanor battery. Orr was acquitted of a second battery charge involving an
earlier altercation.
He faces up to a year in jail when sentenced in October. His lawyer said he
planned to appeal.
Orr was charged with beating the former ``Charlie's Angels'' star in his
driveway Jan. 28 in a fight that followed an argument at a restaurant. Miss
Fawcett admitted smashing his windows with a baseball bat and attacking him
with a bar stool.
``Farrah simply told the truth,'' her spokesman Anthony Pellicano said after
talking to the actress at her Los Angeles area home.
``She truly hopes that her sense of conviction sends a positive message to all
battered women.''
The defense claimed Orr, 44, was trying to prevent the 51-year-old actress from
further damaging his home, but the prosecution claimed he struck in
retaliation.
Orr, a writer, director and producer whose credits include ``Three Men and a
Baby,'' testified during trial that the couple began arguing after Miss Fawcett
found an envelope in the trash that contained two books mailed by Orr's
ex-girlfriend.

Fawcett's old beau guilty of battery
By CYNTHIA L. WEBB
Associated Press Writer
8/18/98
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) -- Farrah Fawcett's ex-boyfriend was convicted
Tuesday of beating the former "Charlie's Angels" actress during a brawl in
which he slammed her head to the ground and choked her in a bruising row.
The seven-woman, five-man jury, which began deliberations Monday afternoon,
found James Orr guilty on one count of misdemeanor battery for a Jan. 28 fight.
But they acquitted him on a second battery count involving an Aug. 28, 1997,
altercation.
Orr, who appeared stunned as the verdict was read, faces up to a year in jail
and a fine when he's sentenced Oct. 6 by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge
Robert T. Altman.
Miss Fawcett was not in the courtroom and there was no immediate reaction from
the actress, her spokesman Anthony Pellicano said. Jurors refused to talk to
reporters after the verdict was read.
Deputy City Attorney Lara Bloomquist said Miss Fawcett was beaten "head to toe"
during the January fight with Orr, a Hollywood producer and director who
claimed during trial that he was the victim of an obsessive wild-woman bent on
violence.
"I guess the argument is supposed to be that she's the high-strung star with
inexplicable behavior," the prosecutor said in closing arguments Monday. Orr
would have jurors believe Miss Fawcett was "the high-strung, temper-tantrum
type and (Orr) is the submissive lover ... that she's irrational, he's a
saint," Bloomquist said.
But the defendant seriously bruised the 51-year-old actress, she said.
Orr was charged with pushing her down, slamming her head to the driveway and
trying to choke her during a fight that followed an argument at a restaurant.
Miss Fawcett admitted smashing his windows with a baseball bat and acknowledged
the two squared off with bar stools during the fight.
The defense claimed Orr, 44, was preventing further damage to his property, but
the prosecution claimed he struck in retaliation instead.
Defense attorney Don Wager told jurors Orr was faced "with an obsessively
jealous and violent woman."
Miss Fawcett committed crimes against Orr but was granted immunity so the
prosecution could prepare a case, Wager pointed out.
"Farrah Fawcett got a pass because she's Farrah Fawcett," the attorney said.
Orr, a writer, director and producer whose credits include "Three Men and a
Baby," testified during trial that the couple began arguing after the actress
found an envelope in the trash that contained two books mailed by Orr's
ex-girlfriend.
The couple went to a restaurant, where they argued some more before returning
home, he said. Miss Fawcett firmly pinched his cheeks, kicked the back of his
car seat and hit him in the shoulders and head as he drove home, he said.
Later, she took her belongings from Orr's home and prepared to leave, he said.
"It was actually very calm and a little sad," he said. He remembered telling
her: "Sorry the evening ended like this."
"Now you can be with your whores," he said she replied.
He said he told her to go home, but she threatened to break his windows if he
went inside.
Once inside, Orr heard glass break and opened the door to find Miss Fawcett
crouching, as if ready to hurl something, he said.
"I said, 'That's it!"' He said he ran after her up the driveway, where the
actress fell backward and hit her head.
"She started kicking at me," he said, so he straddled her. "I thought I was
restraining her and getting her to calm down," but "she was fighting me like a
wildcat."
Orr denied banging Miss Fawcett's head on the asphalt or putting his fingers on
her throat.
"I was not trying to choke her," he said.
The next night, Miss Fawcett showed up with her assistant, Colette Weintraub,
and took a bat to his French windows, Orr said.

Man convicted in Farrah Fawcett attack
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 18 (UPI) - A movie producer/director has been
convicted of misdemeanor battery for allegedly smashing ex- girlfriend Farrah
Fawcett's head against a driveway during an argument with the actress.
The jury of seven women and five men returned its guilty verdict against James
Orr today after about a day of deliberations in a Santa Monica courtroom.
Fawcett, who's best known for her role in the 70s TV series ``Charlie's
Angels,'' testified last week that Orr hit her head against the driveway
asphalt as the two argued Jan. 28.
Jurors acquitted Orr of a second count of battery for an alleged incident last
August in which Fawcett claimed he threw her to the ground and scratched her
face.
Orr had maintained he was only defending himself and his property.
Orr's attorney, Don Wager, told reporters outside court that he believes the
jury concluded Orr used excessive force when a lesser amount of force would
have been allowed to stop Fawcett from smashing some of his property.
Wager said he would seek a new trial for Orr.
Orr is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 6 and could face one year in county jail
and a $6,000 fine.

Bel-Air
Ex-Boyfriend Convicted of Beating Farrah Fawcett
Producer-director James Orr was convicted Tuesday of a misdemeanor charge
in the beating of his ex-girlfriend, actress Farrah Fawcett, during a fight at
his mansion near Bel-Air.
Orr, 44, was acquitted of a second misdemeanor charge stemming from an
Aug. 28, 1997, fracas. But he was convicted for kicking Fawcett and slamming
her head on the pavement of his driveway during a fight on Jan. 28 of this
year.
He could face up to a year in jail and a $6,000 fine when he is sentenced
Oct. 6.
Fawcett and Orr met in 1994 when he directed her in the movie "Man of the
House." The two made up after the fight and issued a news release calling the
incident "two good friends [who] had a small misunderstanding."
During the trial, Orr's attorney, Donald Wager, characterized Fawcett as
the aggressor in the fight, saying that Orr was trying to restrain her from
damaging his home.
Orr is considering an appeal.

Farrah Weeps On Witness Stand
08/13/98
Reuters
(SANTA MONICA) A jury in Santa Monica has heard emotional testimony from
actress Farrah Fawcett at the battery trial of her boyfriend. Fawcett, who
starred in the domestic abuse drama "The Burning Bed", wept on the witness
stand as she told how Orr smashed her head into his asphalt driveway twice last
January. Fawcett said the fight started in a restaurant and continued at Orr's
mansion. According to Fawcett, the attack occurred after she kicked in a glass
panel of Orr's front door when he called her a derogatory name. Jurors saw
photos of Fawcett's injuries taken after the fight, but Fawcett testified she
did not go to the police or the hospital that night because she didn't want Orr
arrested.
Orr, who produced the film "Father of the Bride," and directed Fawcett in "Man
of the House," denies the allegations.

But Joe, this is Farrah's "True Reality". Why shouldn't she be able to act on

Hello Krystal,
Yes, it is.

Because she has the audacity to try and force her society to punitively
punish James, for acting on his True Reality.
> You excuse vicious murderers, why does Farrah's act of rebellion merit

Because she sought and succeeded in denying James the right to physically
attack her, using societal law to inflict punitive punishment upon him. She can
personally KILL him. He can personally KILL her. But she does not have the
right to use her society to punitively punish him.
Take care, JOE
